I cut meat for years and everytime I saw something gross in the meat or I heard about another zoonotic disease outbreak, a small part of me would start thinking about how I need to leave society and grow all my own food-- and how being vegan might be the safest move

I can't really afford to be a hermit so I'll keep eating Burgers and try not to think about it

But if you're ever interested in going vegan-- I think I could share some experiences to help you

The literal thought of eating animal parts has really ruined my perception on meat. Also the thought of grocery stores stocking body parts, and humans choosing which is freshest has warped my mind. Our whole reality seems so fucked up when it comes to our food for survival, and I ask god why humans couldn’t be some photosynthesis type like plants.

Yet, I love med rare ribeyes, and juicy burgers. So, if the dish is appealing I will probably eat it and so going full vegan probably won’t happen. Still, I’ve been trying to reduce my meat consumption but I find it difficult to find a dish that is protein dense and can be a daily meal.
