I'm a truck driver and this would of pissed me off. He needs to back in the other way. It sucks because we like seeing out of driver window but sometimes you can't and have to use your electric mirrors to help you see out the passenger side.
They buy tiny lots like this to save money and make the drivers do backings like this. Truck drivers really don’t understand how disrespectful this truly is. Drivers that accept loads at places like this are apart of the problem.
Love all the trucks and cars sitting literally as close as they possibly can and absolutely refuse to make space and back up or wait. Nah lemme sit mere centimeters away from the guy so when he hits me its his fault.
These kind of ass hats are so plentiful. Hat it today. A dock that requires a roadway back. As I start my roadway 90, this other truck pulls up and goes nose to nose with me. As I move he moves, creeping forward, taking away any pull up correction space I may need.
Yeah I'm no driver, but the whole reason they took so long in the last 20 seconds seems to be because they couldn't move the cab around to where they needed it making it take longer.
I'd already be on the front page of every newspaper and the headline and every new segment for 3 days in row lmao I'd just grab a tire iron and go to work.. That driver has even been doing this since 1970 or has more patience than I ever wanna have..
I guess what my real question is how in the hell do all those trucks and other people are allowed to be on the lot at the same time as someone dropping off or picking up. They drive right close up on this driver the yellow truck have priority if he's dropping off goods or if he is picking up either way places have to have a system in place for this very reason right? Safety measures and what not.. That seems like a very frustrating and all around shitty day at the office for sure ..
I have been in Automotive industry for 10 years working at various manufactures like Hino Motors, Kenworth, and International.. I have never seen somewhere that was this congested such a pain in the ass to maneuver through.
What a bunch of jerks. The dude is trying to back in this trailer and people are just sliding right by him or next to him and around him and it’s chaos!
I'm almost sure this is "Central de abastos" Supplies Centre, in Mexico city, and the thing is the biggest market in the world, having 30 k tons of products traded daily in a 327 hectares (roughly 4mill sqrt yd, or 800 acres) facility. So yeah, the space is an issue, despite being so big, but there's almost nothing to do to get more space
https://maps.app.goo.gl/nP1kRh7pRLi123JEA?g_st=ac
In areas like this, buying an extra 20' of space is about $120k per truck spot. We can see at least 20 truck lanes in yard, so around $2.8 million extra...
2.8 million to a place that big though. It would also increase efficiency. Eh. Are you talking about the real estate or the price of concrete because thats insane.
2.8mil cost is going to the company that owns the building.
The time spent backing and waiting to back, the insurance premiums after hitting something, and the cost of training drivers for this clusterfuck are all going to other companies.
Good luck finding a shipper/receiver willing to eat costs to save other companies a bunch of money and time!
what a nightmare. if it's possible, i can get it done. i'm positive i would take a lot longer than this guy did. but i likely would have tried a different approach.
i'm seeing traffic constantly coming from left/above. i would first see if blind siding would be an easier option. i'd also see if any of those small cars and tractor on the other side could be moved, and i could nose into there then back up. if not, i'd be asking the white truck if he could disconnect to make room. i'd even offer to do the work for him to disconnect, as it's not his fault. looks like that guy disconnected anyway so maybe that's what happened here.
i've had some sticky situations like this where i also play with my trailer axles to get the trailer to maneuver more favorably for the situation. axles all the way forward in this situation would have helped me a little. would be nice if traffic was blocked to alleviate some of the pressure on him.
Yup! What a rage inducing experience that must’ve been! At that rate, once he’d finally parked, I wouldn’t unhook, just like the white cabover, just leave it and let them figure it out…🖕🤬🖕Fuckers!
Legitimately an infuriating video to watch. Don't know why I put myself through that, activated a ton of repressed yard anger and frustration I've had to bury down deep, last thing I need on a Monday afternoon.
I firmly believe, if you can’t afford to have proper space for 53’ trailers and their tractors to safely back up without worrying about hitting what’s in front. Then you simply can’t afford to be in this business. It’s ridiculous that it’s 2026 and there are so many distributors that haven’t figured this out. I personally tell my dispatch about these kind of places and refuse them. Doesn’t matter if other drivers can do it. I’m not an idiot, why would I stress myself out getting into a spot that is most definitely going to have subpar service and product and the pay will be ridiculous as well. You can tell who takes their job seriously when they have actual proper facilities for shipping and receiving.
I could make it if those people weren't constantly like, "I'm here now. In your way. Deal with it." Like... back up a couple feet. It doesn't take long if you don't make it harder, ffs.
I'd be so fucking mad, lol. I would have blown my top when the assholes went around me like I wasn't there and even more when the knobs in the two trucks were just sitting there like morons.
Yes, turn around and blindside in from the other side. Easy. Or reverse, then make a hard right so to the opposite open side, and do a practically straight back. Instead of trying to jack it in.
Making some assumptions here, but the driver should have gone as far to the doc as he could while coming in and the turned into the place where the red smaller vehicle is. And then just straight backed. There’s probably something that I’m missing, or that isn’t obvious in the video, because idk why you’d choose to back in like they do as opposed to how I’m suggesting
Fuck every single person driving around this driver whilst making a tough move. Hard enough to pull this off without wondering if someone’s in your blindspot.
This is one of the big reasons I'm ready to go local. Everybody is aggressive, rushing, and it usually makes the situation worse. If people got out and help. He'll be out the way hell've a lot faster. But "my clock" right?....
I'm sitting there wondering why they didn't just remove the two trailers directly across from the dock and directly next to the dock. Would have made EVERYONE'S lives much easier. (that and having someone direct traffic so that the poor driver didn't have to move to allow others to go past)
Mmm I think they could have set it up better if they drove in to the spot then cut hard right then got around the truck on the left. Still a tight back regardless but that way they are atleast a bit more angled towards the spot without making it a full on 90.? Idk anyway…
Fuck everyone of those impatient fucks who couldn’t even give my guy space man.
I say this all the time. Logistics places like this make no fucking sense. Whoever designs this shit doesn't think about how inefficient it is to have an extremely small space to operate in. You would think with them having hundreds of trucks going in and out of there all week every week that the shit would be designed to make some goddamn sense. Had to back into a place today and there's a line of cars next to the docks in the perfect spot to get crushed instead of using the BIG ASS PARKING LOT IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!!!! IT'S LITERALLY RIGHT THERE!!! 20 FEET AWAY FROM WHERE YOU'RE PARKED RIGHT NOW!!!!!! 😠
Yep. And probably somewhere in the North East. I used to be NE regional and Jersey/NY had MANY docks like this… it’s part of the reason why I’m now SW regional.
I’d stop short of bumping the dock, just in the way enough so the two asshats who refused to back up a little could not go past. Then get out and initiate a very slow conversation about how it’s a nice day and I hope their appointments aren’t any time soon. Be a shame if they couldn’t get to their docks on time.
Man I literally hate most truck drivers. Shit like this is why I’m not otr anymore. What a bunch of assholes. I’d pop my brakes and keep that. Whole place backed up for half an hour or so.
You don't drive anymore, the shitty docks and in-the-way audience can't hurt you. You don't drive anymore, the shitty docks and in-the-way audience can't hurt you. You don't drive anymore, the shitty docks and in-the-way audience can't hurt you. You don't drive anymore, the shitty docks and in-the-way audience can't hurt you. panic attack continues
I could make it, after I got out and ripped the gear shifter out of the 25th 4 wheeler to sneak around me as I was backing and use his busted car as a traffic control device
Yes and its not even that bad. Call me when you deliver to a Neighborhood Walmart outside of Atlanta that's part of a strip mall and next to a 10 ft straight drop. Zero wiggle room. Second most stressful back ive ever done.
The worst one was also a Walmart but it had an underground parking lot and that's where the dock was. Pillars everywhere. Incredibly stressful.
I'd have told them the risk isn't worth it. Could I make it? Possibly. Without idiots causing damage? Probably not. I'll drop the trailer and if it's that important, they can have a yard dog do it.
LTL driver here, who has to deal with crap like this on a daily basis. Personally, I would have straight backed in the direction of the incoming assholes, then jug handled down into that open spot directly opposite of the assigned dock. Then backed into the dock.
I’m not paid to make highlight reel backs. I’m paid to work safe, and by the hour. I would’ve called dispatch and told the the conditions aren’t safe and I’m waiting for the yard to clear
The yard isn't great but with time and pull ups and GOAL it can be done even without the help. It'll suck ass but it'll get done.
The real problem with this yard is how busy it is for a tiny ass yard with everybody trying to go around or stop right in the way of the guy backing up.
I did something like this in Chicago. Worst time I ever had!!! Instead of cars across from me, it was another building and the other side had cars. I had to park in between a wall, like this, and another trailer. It was during lunch so folks were in and out and the customer spoke Russian or some shit so he was no help. I eventually saw some cones and I put em out on one side and finally got in. So much sweat was pouring off me!!! Then as I was leaving, there were no cars to impede my exit, smh.
Hope guy has a garage style door because I backed into a yard, not nearly as tight as this but pretty tight and forgot to open my doors! In all seriousness though, that warehouse is just CRIMINAL! I’m surprised that there aren’t much regulation on yard space.
it is, though i doubt it's used as a legit yard, it's probably just a viral video farm of sorts. i saw this exact video with the same truck earlier today but in a different bay

mason2393@reddit
Would be better off blindside for this dock
unloader86@reddit
Came to say this.
totesnotfakeusername@reddit
Yeah, fuck this. I'd rather drive moffat all day in the rain.
Willing-Sympathy-112@reddit
It's stuff like this that turned my hair white.
thedrizzit357@reddit
Omg what a Boss. Super trucker at work. Didn't even lose his cool
Be-It-coin@reddit
Is that in America? 😲
gustavsen@reddit
From a previous time this video was posted, it’s the Central Market in Mexico City
Dr_Adderall_2000@reddit
Yep. And probably somewhere in the North East. I used to be NE regional and Jersey/NY had MANY docks like this… it’s part of the reason why I’m now SW regional.
Screamingevil@reddit
Talk about a tight spot!
gkeyz@reddit
Not a chance in hell
kakarota@reddit
Yes
Free-One9301@reddit
Driver was awesome. Other drivers....not so much. In the words of Spicoli....you dicks!
Oersch@reddit
I’d stop short of bumping the dock, just in the way enough so the two asshats who refused to back up a little could not go past. Then get out and initiate a very slow conversation about how it’s a nice day and I hope their appointments aren’t any time soon. Be a shame if they couldn’t get to their docks on time.
yickinyender@reddit
That's so hot 😂🙏🙏🙏 love this attitude
Josef_Kant_Deal@reddit
Go out and thank all of the spotters. Maybe go inside and get them something from the vending machine.
rarzwon@reddit
Better yet, order pizza.
Bla6k@reddit
He definitely scrapped the front of that reefer tariler.
Mcgill1cutty@reddit
Man I literally hate most truck drivers. Shit like this is why I’m not otr anymore. What a bunch of assholes. I’d pop my brakes and keep that. Whole place backed up for half an hour or so.
Logos12@reddit
This gave me anxiety. Also the assholes not giving an inch really pissed me off. Not a trucker btw
Acrobatic_Ocelot_461@reddit
And that's why I drive LTL
Dangerous_Speed6743@reddit
Honestly the same thing as taking the last spot at loves at 4 pm
IronMonkey18@reddit
I see a bunch of haters who won’t move just to make the other driver struggle.
Additional_Internal1@reddit
Dumbest shit ever, where is NJ, NY, Mexico
seeder33@reddit
Lmao id just leave the truck and go to the bar.
nasdawg77@reddit
Have to have super God like patience for this place
Mack1305@reddit
These places weren't built for 53' trailers. But drivers are forced to contend with them.
Mack1305@reddit
Biggest thing is to not rush. Take your time and look
__The-1__@reddit
Look at this dummy lmao
jjdajetman@reddit
Im sure that was the only bay open for him lol. They do this on purpose i swear
D-Gemini@reddit
It’s giving New Jersey
International_Salt33@reddit
You don't drive anymore, the shitty docks and in-the-way audience can't hurt you. You don't drive anymore, the shitty docks and in-the-way audience can't hurt you. You don't drive anymore, the shitty docks and in-the-way audience can't hurt you. You don't drive anymore, the shitty docks and in-the-way audience can't hurt you. panic attack continues
Immediate_Regular@reddit
You hear the angry car horns in your sleep too, don't you?
TommyG456@reddit
Wow
Disastrous_Suspect53@reddit
That’s a 57 foot trailrr
king_rootin_tootin@reddit
I'm thinking he should have made a right into that big spot and then went backwards into the doc from there.
N7-Eschaton@reddit
My first thought as well
LuisChoriz@reddit
Exactly, this is what pissed me off the most. Initially, there was no one there.
roanokephotog@reddit
That one is going to the yard bird, that's a big eff no from me dawg 😂
Overall_Reputation83@reddit
id be sweating balls and on the edge of having a mini panic attack with that many people buzzing around me while trying to do a tight back.
FemalePrimateNo7@reddit
Yay!!!
ptk77@reddit
That takes a level of skill and patience I have yet to achieve.
UltraViolentNdYAG@reddit
Looks like it would be a good video tho. Add some GTA theme. Some of those folks are complete assholes!
Mindless_Library22@reddit
Fuck that place
-cosme-@reddit
Lol im not sure tbh! But all those cars/trucks around would piss me off, thats for sure.
CatOfGrey@reddit
Is there talk about dedicated drones for parking assistance in these situations?
possibly_lost45@reddit
I would have pulled wide to the left and then hook it up in between those trailers and back right in
Codexe-@reddit
no, and i'm cancelling the pickup, unless they find me a dock i can actually fit in. thats not made for 53 foot trailer
scubaorbit@reddit
Yup, this is one of the places I would have p/u or del once and then never again.
Kindly_Impress9665@reddit
More impressive he did it in a kenworth w900 jeez
xoutlawtrucker@reddit
I could make it, after I got out and ripped the gear shifter out of the 25th 4 wheeler to sneak around me as I was backing and use his busted car as a traffic control device
WhereasConscious9925@reddit
This looks like a game ad. 😂
Requettie@reddit
warehouse blacklist
4DAttackHummingbird@reddit
Is this a drone video or ai?
mr-doctor2u@reddit
Its definitely AI
Sharp_Requirement_50@reddit
Somebody needs to give this man a raise
Freightshaker000@reddit
...and then you remember you have swing out doors.
HowlingWolven@reddit
With my tandems forward, a spotter, and a lot of cursing.
CryptographerOk3679@reddit
Impressive, im looking to invest in a drone so i can have a bird eye view in tight situations
Nothing2NV@reddit
Why doesn’t this place just have them drop the trailer and have a hostler put them in?
West_Masterpiece9423@reddit
Gotta be a video game
NoMasterpiece2063@reddit
Not like that, no. I'd be finding a place to turn around and then blind side into the dock
Hot-Association-3722@reddit
I’d refuse the load. I’m not about to waste my time with that horseshit
RollinHellfire@reddit
Absolute master. I'd have walked.
blkav8tor2003@reddit
Skills and patience!
ConsciousAwareness69@reddit
That’s bullshit. Just say NO
El_Nasty@reddit
With my eyes closed. Easy
Mindes13@reddit
Probably if those cocksuckers would give me a fucking minute
casuallytea@reddit
Blue truck is real ass hole.
FloppyTacoflaps@reddit
No pull out and open doors
LSTmyLife@reddit
Yes and its not even that bad. Call me when you deliver to a Neighborhood Walmart outside of Atlanta that's part of a strip mall and next to a 10 ft straight drop. Zero wiggle room. Second most stressful back ive ever done.
The worst one was also a Walmart but it had an underground parking lot and that's where the dock was. Pillars everywhere. Incredibly stressful.
-TheycallmeThe@reddit
If they restricted access to that area it would be faster for everyone.
Busy-Purple-3779@reddit
Why doesn’t that driver drop his trailer? He’s just sitting there while he struggles to get in. He could drop his trailer and move his tractor.
stephenhoskins32@reddit
Maybe? But would I bother? No, because the chance of hitting something is too high
Norsedragoon@reddit
I'd have told them the risk isn't worth it. Could I make it? Possibly. Without idiots causing damage? Probably not. I'll drop the trailer and if it's that important, they can have a yard dog do it.
Glum-Leadership4823@reddit
Fuck this lot and the company that decides to use it.
BoringJuiceBox@reddit
No human should have to go through this
Slater_8868@reddit
LTL driver here, who has to deal with crap like this on a daily basis. Personally, I would have straight backed in the direction of the incoming assholes, then jug handled down into that open spot directly opposite of the assigned dock. Then backed into the dock.
BeeAruh@reddit
To your first point I wonder why he didn’t do that
Infuryous@reddit
The warehouse / dock should invest in a short wheelbase pig and/or a heavy forklift.
East_Indication_7816@reddit
This is a blind side back . Why are you backing like that ???
viledeac0n@reddit
What a shit show
Lane8323@reddit
I’m not paid to make highlight reel backs. I’m paid to work safe, and by the hour. I would’ve called dispatch and told the the conditions aren’t safe and I’m waiting for the yard to clear
NJNeal17@reddit
If I did, I'd refuse to go back! Props to the driver for finishing the job when he could've walked away!
RobsHereAgain@reddit
In the very beginning if you could nose in to the dock directly across but sheesh that whole place runs on chaos ADHD apparently.
DumatRising@reddit
The yard isn't great but with time and pull ups and GOAL it can be done even without the help. It'll suck ass but it'll get done.
The real problem with this yard is how busy it is for a tiny ass yard with everybody trying to go around or stop right in the way of the guy backing up.
Hourslikeminutes47@reddit
There sure are a lot of assholes at that place
jrebar@reddit
Fuck that
The_Vass_76@reddit
One more reason I don’t run dryvan or reefer. I deal with enough tight spots as is. Don’t need anymore extra shit to deal with too.
gaseousogre@reddit
same
Inevitable_Duty_7923@reddit
Brokered load.
lord_nuker@reddit
Yes, but i would have blind sided it
erything4sale@reddit
I did something like this in Chicago. Worst time I ever had!!! Instead of cars across from me, it was another building and the other side had cars. I had to park in between a wall, like this, and another trailer. It was during lunch so folks were in and out and the customer spoke Russian or some shit so he was no help. I eventually saw some cones and I put em out on one side and finally got in. So much sweat was pouring off me!!! Then as I was leaving, there were no cars to impede my exit, smh.
Dr_Adderall_2000@reddit
Hope guy has a garage style door because I backed into a yard, not nearly as tight as this but pretty tight and forgot to open my doors! In all seriousness though, that warehouse is just CRIMINAL! I’m surprised that there aren’t much regulation on yard space.
Tapcofucked@reddit
Shit like this is what makes me glad I quit. I need an edible after watching that last part.
edsavage404@reddit
I would have blind side jt
denyasis@reddit
Unsung heroes..... Those spotters
EgotisticJet5@reddit
Is this in the U.S. ?
Quiero_Mimir@reddit
Definitely not, that’s Latin America. Not the worst I’ve seen down here xD
kuba5028@reddit
well, american cars and trucks, but looks like the third world? you guessed it, ~~nigeria~~ mexico
kuba5028@reddit
it is, though i doubt it's used as a legit yard, it's probably just a viral video farm of sorts. i saw this exact video with the same truck earlier today but in a different bay
blindeneyes@reddit
that's mexico local Distribution center market, that's an everyday move for those drivers
43551Ohio@reddit
Impossible to be.
ExplorerImpossible79@reddit
Easily, I’d drop that fucker and ask the yard dog for help l. Dude probably has a donkey and for sure knows that better than I do
HeywoodJaBlowMe123@reddit
Anxiety watching this
snarksneeze@reddit
It's all about them tandems, baby
BeenThruIt@reddit
Gets in.
Ahhh, forgot to open the doors.

NorthP503@reddit
If they did I can.
tigair@reddit
It doesn't look real to me, like it's a simulation.
sk8zero0619@reddit
Easy sauce. Put the tandems all the way up and 90 it
DazednConfuzed62@reddit
Just did something close to that an hr ago
mctwiddle@reddit

Commercial-Ant-6869@reddit
