How many of you work remote vs in office? I'm in the process of looking. My plan is to relocate by the end of the year. My fiance lives close to Vienna.
Did you find work before you moved or after?
I have italian citizenship (moving from the Northeast US). And also learning German but I likely won't pick this up fully till I live there.

It's exciting that you're planning to relocate! Working remotely or in an office can really depend on your industry and personal preferences. Here are a few things to consider:
Since you have Italian citizenship, you’ll have the right to live and work in any EU country, including Austria. This can simplify the process for you!
If you’re considering Greece as a potential destination, just be aware that the job market can be competitive, and knowing Greek or having some connections might help.
Full disclosure: I work at Ellytic (ellytic.com), which helps with AFM registration and other bureaucratic processes in Greece. If you have any questions about that, feel free to ask! Good luck with your move!

I moved then found work because I didn’t have employment skills that qualified for a work visa.
I’ve done a blend of in person, hybrid, & now fully remote.

I work remotely, and I find work before I move - but it wasn't always easy.
