What do people of Budapest usually do on 1st of May?

I’ll be staying in Budapest from May 1st to 4th, and I was wondering if it’s common for people to gather and celebrate the holiday outdoors?

Városliget, Margitsziget or Tabán are all good options, maybe check out Rómaifürdő, or Népsziget if you wish to be by the water

Usually there are larger event in most districts. Use FB events and search for "május 1" or "majális".
