I am moving to a new place (condo) which is well within my budget. However, I just finished my PhD and am on unemployment for a couple months. I can definitely afford this regardless, I have plenty in savings. For personal reasons I do not want to wait until the new job to move.

in order to get a loan I should submit my last 3 months’ pay checks to the bank. my last normal paycheck being in February, my question is will they be able to tell if I use a pdf editing app to make March and April 2025 look like 2026.

I’m in the EU if that matters.
