Cooling an Ultra 7 265k

So, I have an alright little air cooler, a Thermalright si-100, it has a rated cooling potential of up to 210w(?), however I'm throttling at like 180. I want something like an NF-A9x14, or a Thermalright AXP90 x53. I have a thing for 92mm coolers, I like the taller little single stack coolers with the thinner top mounted fan, but nothing exists within what I need, and I'm stuck at either going AMD or thugging it out with an AIO. I would also get a DeepCool Assassin IV, but good luck with that in the US. Any help would be appreciated.

An axp120x67 or a nhl12s would be the best compromise based on your requirements without going aio. Would still throttle under some loads but better than the other ones you mentioned.

Ended up sucking it up and going for an AIO, the ultra 7 loves sucking power and I’m seeing mine hit 230w+ under heavy loads before throttling down to barely 60 just to not burn out

I mean the 265k is not a low power CPU and while it doesnt bend like the previous LGA1700 CPUs its shape isnt exactly efficient either. Id say if u want to cool this those low profile coolers aren't going to cut it they are meant for less power hungry CPUs
Not sure what ur case is that makes u want one of these but yeah id either get a dual tower air cooler or an AIO atleast 240mm for a 265k if u want consistent temps plus it would allow u to gwt the most out of ur CPU and avoid throttling

thought about an aio, and tbh, i want one but im also trying to find something that fits looks-wise. itd be a 240mm because id be sidemounting it, but i absolutely love the design of low profile coolers. only issue is that ive got one rated for 210w, and even still, im sitting at over 100*c under full load.

Yeah if u like the look I definitely recommend the 240mm version of the Artic Liquid freezer III

had one. i have the room for it, MATX, but i hated the look of it. want an aio but worried about looks.
