What are my chances of getting a job with Japanese airlines?

Hi! I'm 17 years old, and next year I'm planning to enroll in university in Slovakia to study to become a pilot. I've recently been thinking about which airline I might join after graduation. My childhood dream has been to live and work in Japan, and I was wondering if I could even join a Japanese airline and what the requirements are for foreigners.

Until you will be even eligible to apply for Japanese airline it will take you 5+ years. By that time your priorities might change and you will change as a person probably. This is planning too much in advance

Your best bet is to gain hours in Europe first and foremost, and then take it from there. There are some Japanese airlines that allows for foreigners to enter as first officers to my knowledge but i dont think any of the main carriers do.

Song google research answers many initial questions.
