Would you rather work extra hours for more holiday entitlement?

Would you rather work a 50hr week job and receive 39!days annual leave per year, OR, would you rather work 3.5 days / 25 hours a week and receive little to no holiday leave.
I am currently finding my balance after working long, demanding weeks, but i received so much holiday leave I didn’t know what to do with myself. Whereas now, my work/life balance is great, but I get barely any bookable time off.

We have flexi leave. Work longer, take up to 16h leave per month. You choose what suits you and the workload

I work 20hrs a week and receive the same holiday entitlement as someone working a 38hr week. I also work a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern, so have 12 days off when I book 4 off 😎

My ideal was a four-day 37hr week which I was able to achieve in the last five years before retiring. It gave me weekends long enough for a city break in the uk and having a weekday off every week made getting those odd things alike getting the car serviced much easier.

I already get more holiday than I tend to use. The overtime is pretty nice as things stand.
4 day workweek would be ideal for me, which is mostly how I work currently, even if unofficial.

In my experience, a job that has 50 hour weeks year-round is going to be virtually impossible to actually use those 39 days

Why is it kne extreme or the other?
And if you know work 3.5 days then you have fewer days to book off to have a week off too.
