The drummer from Def Leppard’s only got one arm

I feel like BHG is one of those bands that separates the Xennials from the Millennials.
You’re either Bad Touch or One Fierce Beer Coaster.

Saw them live in I think 1999... entire band came out on stage wearing matching white suits like the Backstreet Boys.

Also, these guys were buds with God Lives Underwater. Both bands were from the Philly area and GLU remixed BHG a couple of times.

Man these guys were actually really talented musicians. I’d love to hear a more serious style from them

I remember watching them perform live on Oddville and wigging out jumping up and down on the bed.

That night I lost myself to milky white skin, ruby red lips and baby blue eye. Name was Russell…

I say this to my buddy Russ about once a year, just enough time for him to forget.

I love that "The 10 Best Things about New Jersey" is just ten seconds of silence.

Jimmy Pop is an insanely talented lyricist underneath all that crazy. Or maybe because of it

definitely One Fierce Beer Coaster, that album's a vibe
MajorMiners469@reddit
The album is called One fierce beer coaster, and there's a picture, of a beer coaster on it, so the cd, IS A BEER COASTER! That is funny. That is whack. That shit is whack And funny.

Saw them live in 1997 with Beck, Iggy Pop, Rev Horton Heat and a few other bands … Moby was there too, at a side stage (wasn’t well known in the US yet) but he was trying to do his techno music but to a rock genre, it wasn’t good.

I didn't know who Bloodhound Gang was, but I had a "proggie" on AOL called Fate X, and one of the menu options played a snippet from Fire Water Burn; "I'm kinda like Han Solo, always stroke'n my own wookie, I'm the root of all that's even, but you can call me Cookie. The Roof, The Roof, the Roof is on fire".
I played that snippet dozens of times, but had no idea who the band was, or the song was called. I ended up figuring out and immediately bought the album, and fell in love with it. Yeah, BHG were skilled, fun, and a product of their time, I'm very thankful I was there to enjoy them in that era.
YcemeteryTreeY@reddit
Yeah, Def Leppard had already been famous for years by the time that happened. Rick Allen (drummer) lost his arm in a car accident in 1984 and he had a special drum kit made to keep playing with the band afterwards

I mean, with arena rock it's not as much of an issue as other genres. Big echoey venues, you're not going deep on poly rhythms like you were playing afro-Cuban in a tiny club.
Not to detract from his pain at all. I'm sure it sucked for him.
Actual_Appearance246@reddit
Lol, I met him at a bar years ago.
DearBurt@reddit
I once talked with him on the phone, briefly. Had a buddy in college from Dallas, who knew him from a music store. Hung up and was like, “Well, he was nice.”

I remember there was a TV movie about them and his Corvette crash in England was the most interesting part. Or when the sound engineer twisted a few knobs and made them actually sound good when the singer thought he sucked.
