Any recommendations on seats for a more comfortable ride?

I absolutely hate the stock seat on my e-bike and I wanna upgrade it. I saw someone had a dirt bike like seat on their bike so it had me wondering how that were possible on an ebike?

SQLab saddles, Cloud9, and brook are amazing. I also recommend a suspension seat post. Helped me so much with comfort on longer rides or having better torque on bumpy roads. Kinekt, Thudbuster, Suntour, or even a used bicycle shop can get you some cheaper ones it makes a world of difference.

I bought a wide, noseless sear. It's so much better.

I had one for a about a week. Couldn’t stand it.

What's the matter?

get a saddle that matches your sit bones (Ergon/WTB/SQlab) + add a suspension seatpost like Cloud-9 or Sontour... it makes a huge difference in comfort

Comfort comes from proper saddle width, not excessive cushion or overall size.
Get a piece of cardboard from a box or something and put it on a table. Wearing underwear or nothing, sit on it with all your weight and rock side to side slightly. When you get up you will see two dimples. Put a dot in the center of each one, this is your sitbone measurement.
Companies I like are Ergon, WTB, and SQlabs. You can find seats for your use case, riding position, and sitbone width.

Yup, my cushy gel seat caused nerve issues over time but my properly fit SQLabs one on a suspension seatpost? Heavenly.

Same story here. I was using the padded gel seat that came with my bike and it was causing problems. Picked up a Ergon seat with my measurements and those issues went away. Then I added a suntour NCX suspension seatpost and as you said, heavenly.

Cloud 9 but everyone's rear is different. Try a bunch from Amazon, return uncomfortable ones.

You could probably use a dirt-bike seat but you'd be doing a fair bit of modification.
I went with one of those no-name wide seats with plenty of cushioning. It's just the right size for me and fine for my use case. Alternatively you can get a suspension seatpost as others have mentioned - they definitely do help.

I use a Cloud 9 suspension seat. It's fantastic for my old ass and back.

Get a suspension seat post as well. I rode the ten last years on a bike without one. My new bike had it and had a comparable seat. The ride is so much more comfortable. The seat post I'm using is a cheap OEM that's probably around $30. Night and day I tell you!

I like cloud 9.

Another rec for Brooks. Even for a heavyweight like me, they’ll shape to fit your bones. Not the cheapest option, but definitely the comfiest.

get your sitbones measured and by the matching size of SQlab saddle

When I bought my Lectric ebike it was a Black Friday sale and came with both their standard seat and their upgraded comfort seat. That upgraded seat is pretty comfortable! There's probably better ones out there though.

Only the best one going on for over 120 years, brooks saddle. Get a sprung one for extra cush.
