Ready to build a new rig

Posted in PCMR but didn’t really catch any traction. Didn’t really get the help I was looking for.
To summarize that post here:
I have $6k (USD) I’m looking at tossing into a new build (sold my last rig last January)
AMD chipset (r7 9850x3d) and a rtx 5080 is what I’m looking at for cpu/gpu
Looking to output around 200fps consistently across modern titles.
I typically go for the best of the best in slot options but I know prices are wild rn. With all that being said I would love some assistance in putting a build list together with my budget.

This was my last build lol… it will not perform up to those standards anymore. It was struggling to run on anything above medium with late 2024 early 2025 releases.

You can get a prebuilt for under $2500. Unless you're looking for big ram for productivity or 8TB+ of storage, you dont need to spend $6k or if you're going open loop and want more than one OLED monitor. Also what constitutes "modern titles"? Because some games will never hit 200fps without frame gen. Also you dont have any criteria or resolution. I highly recommend avoiding 4k and just get 1440p240 OLED. I would go for a full ASUS ProArt if you're looking for a theme. I tend to avoid case recommendations because everyone has different preferences or aesthetics. I dont like fishtank style cases.

Resolution is whatever to me.. I’ve been gaming on 1080 for years so jumping to 1440 as fun as it would be isn’t priority. I do not like pre builts… like at all. I don’t quite understand how that could even be the case however? 32gigs of cl30 ddr5 is 4-$500+ and 5080s are around 1600-2k that’s not even factoring in buying an m.2(s), a cpu, mobo, cooler etc

If you're staying at 1080p, a 5080 would be a waste. A 5070 could adequately push 1080p240 no problem. Although you could go 5070ti as an in between its the best value of both of them. If you have a microcenter near you they do have a 5080 system for $2400. Im not a fan of prebuilts, but at that price its worth it alone. If you're not near a microcenter or inside the US, then my advice will be moot overall, because prices will be different. 5080s are certainly not $1600USD here, although some of the higher end models do reach that price.
