Should I overhaul system from Ryzen to Intel

I mainly use my desktop for editting photos and videos on adobe. Currently, I have a Ryzen 5 5600 and ddr4 16gb 2666mhz.
Should I do a complete overhaul to intel i5 12600k or 14400 to boost productivity? I plan on buying a motherboard lga1700 that still is ddr4 to reuse my ram since I have a tight budget. Thank you for the opinions.

Intel igpus have hardware decode / encode for video, you can get the same benefits with a B580 or rtx 5000’s, B580 should encode h.265 and av1 about as fast as a 5080 since they both have two media engines encoding, timeline performance will benefit greatly from hardware decode, just check that the codecs you shoot video in have hardware decode on whatever gpu ir igpu that you’re going for

Personally I would look into getting a Ryzen 5900XT or 5950X.

Is there a big difference between ryzen and intel for adobe apps? Or is it more worth it to upgrade my ram

There won't be a sufficient difference for you to switch to older Intel processors. RAM Is going to be more important.

Since you already have an AM4 system, have you looked into a 5950X, 5900XT, 5900X or 3950X?
What GPU do you use right now? You could try to find an A310 or A380 for QuickSync and AV1 support, unless you have a decently modern AMD or Nvidia GPU

I have a low end GPU right now (gtx 1060 3gb) I plan on upgrading it this coming May.
Will it be better for just upgrade my ram to 32gb for my ryzen 5 5600 or overhaul to intel for productivity?
