Is it worth buying an RTX 5060 now, or is it better to wait?

To give you more context, I just want to play games at a good frame rate in 1080p in high settings, nothing more.
I was thinking of buying an RTX 5060 for my PC, until now, I've been using the integrated graphics on my Ryzen 5 7600G.
The purchase would be quite expensive for me, and shipping to my country (Venezuela) would bring the total cost to around $450, and thats already like 3 months of salary.
I regret not buying it before the price went up, to be honest. Do you think the price will go down in the future, or is it better to buy it as soon as I can?

I have a 3060 12GB that I have to remove from my old PC that I will send to you if you cover shipping.
It is literally not worth the time and hassle for me to resell.

Seriously, bro? I'd really appreciate it.

It's from this discontinued prebuilt.
You already have a better MOBO and CPU, but let me know if you want anything else off of it.

I'd like the HDD, I have less than 500GB to be honest, but I feel like with the 3060 it's already too much bro, i really apreciate it

DM me your address. I'll need a day or two to get data off the HDD, but I'll wipe it and send both to you.

If 1080p is what you're playing it with than go for it. Despite the vram only 8gb. Dlss/FG goes a long way. No one knows when the price will go down or not. But will probably stay the same for now.

Wait for 2028?
eskjcSFW@reddit
Prices only go up as long as we don't get into a recession
Ok_Cheesecake_9793@reddit
dont wait lol some of us have been waiting since 2020 and look at where the market is now, WAY WORSE than before lol
Redustt@reddit (OP)
Its always a bad time to build a pc, sadly
rucekooker@reddit
Do it bro. dont ask reddit cuz asking reddit when ur GPU IS A LITERAL INTEGRATED GRAPHICS. will only result in you overthinking it more

Eh, its horribly inflated, but given you're playing on integrated, anything is an upgrade. Maybe check the local used market for something if possible. Idk what that would look like in venezuela or if such a thing exists given the chavez/maduro years. If not, well, if you wanna buy, you're gonna pay what you pay. It sucks, but this aint a good market right now. I'd hold off if possible but given youre on integrated and knowing how weak that is, it might just be best to buy now.

Might be worth looking at 4060, not sure with non ti, the 40 and 5060to are basically the same for performance.
SmokBarrage@reddit
look at your local used market
even a 2070/3060 honestly is fine for 1080p
any dgpu will be a fantastic upgrade

I can't buy a used card here in my country, a used 3060 costs around $400, yep, I just looked it up, Some stores also sell the 5060 for over $650, so its just better to buy a new one
SmokBarrage@reddit
that sucks
im also pretty sure the 9060xt is also a pretty bad price in your country
you might just be stuck with nvidia but who knows if their prices will become reasonable. if you look at nvidia sales its a miracle we even get consumer grade cards at all

no one can tell imo. But I do have a small advice. 5060 ti 8gb is only like 10-20 bucks more with like 15% better performance when not bottlenecked by vram. get that instead. also, as far as I know, 5060 ti 8gb is almost at its historic low
