13600kf + 5060 vs 12400f + 5060 ti 16gb

I was gonna do an am5 build for "better" Upgrade paths to cpus i will NEVER buy so i went back to good old stable ddr4 lga1700 without squeezing the budget, so which combo is better?
- 13600kf + 5060
- 12400f + 5060 ti
To answer some questions:
- No, I don't give a shits abt a 20 fps difference
- No, I cant add anything to the budget cuz 20$ is like 1000 buckaroos here (Egp)
- No, I prob wont upgrade in 3+ years unless its to add more ram
Any help would be appreciated 🙏

The 5600X is now 20% faster on DDR4 than a 12400F in gaming, and usually cheaper especially considering overall system costs.
That with the 5060ti 16GB would be my choice.

Thats why i mentioned that idc abt a 20 fps difference, yes the 5600x is a better value even tho outside of fps games like csgo the difference is those same 20-30 i was talking about, not speaking about productivity, and the problem isnt the cpu its the am4 in general cuz in those same benchmarks you can see that the 5800xt which is TRIPLE the price in only like 10fps more while having like 2 more cores so mid value in upgradability imo

In my country the 5600X+B550 are simply cheaper than a 12400F+B660/760 (aside from being faster on DDR4 in gaming). Since you seem to have a tight budget I figured that's why it may be worth looking into.
As for upgradeability, I assume you mean for productivity should you ever need it, make sure to buy a very good board for a i7/i9 13th and 14th gen CPU, those chips in incredibly power demanding and affordable B660/B760 boards won't do. For gaming they won't be a lot faster on DDR4 than a 5600X but for productivity they obviously will be.
5800XT at that price is just a bad deal all round, indeed ignore.

If it had like big performance gaps like am5 i would have gone am4 honestly but maybe because iam starting in the middle kind of i know they go way back, i can go am5 here but the ddr5 ram situation us weird.
1x16 is gonna be bad 2x8 and upgrade later is also bad
I dont understand it really, and in terms pf productivity the difference in the performance is not that big but its in the huge core counts of intel, do neither am4 or am5 rn at least are good value imo.
And iam gonna stick w my board until maybe like a 13-14600k i think it will do the job and upgrade it later or whole platform why not.

go for 5060 ti 16gb if you play games that need the extra vram and go ffor 13600kf if you can make use of the extra cpu cores and computing power.
No_Injury_5133@reddit (OP)
Bro the 5060 ti is almost double the price while draining my budget and i don't know what games utilize more than 8gb of vram and my blender and editing plan is gonna be kinda small just learning and having fun with it, thats why i came here
Jman85@reddit
How would an amd cpu be bad for programming?
No_Injury_5133@reddit (OP)
Didn't say its bad but going amd both cpu and gpu rn won't give me the value i want tbh especially with the ram pricing
Scarabesque@reddit
AM4 is better value in most countries for a DDR4 system.
5600X is 20% faster than a 12400F in gaming on DDR4, and B550 boards are generally cheaper and more available compared to LGA 1700 boards that support DDR4.
But it all depends on your market.

The prices are kinda the same here from what i saw (didnt look into am4 much tbh) but i chose lga1700 due to the wide variety of options because if i chose the 5600x my max upgrade would be a 5800xt (due to the x3d being extinct) which i think isnt that much of an upgrade imo and i honestly prefer amd but rn no reason to buy them here

TLDR : 12400F + 5060Ti
Why?
The 13600K/F is plenty CPU...I have it...but it drowns the 5060.
From the looks of things, you want to game. The 12400F has the basic 6 cores/12 threads minimum need these days, and the 5060Ti, while not a rocket ship, is a perfectly acceptable card. ie a more balanced setup.
You said you won't upgrade, but LGA1700 has plenty of room to upgrade. A 14600K or better is no joke. That will match or beat a 5800X3D.

Yeah thats why i chose lga instead of am4 in the first place so tysm

Post your budget and specific use case and someone will make a parts list for you. If your budget is on the lower side, you should consider used parts.
No_Injury_5133@reddit (OP)
Around 1000$ usd, used is a no go here for multiple reasons (main reason that its not my money so i cant argue reallistically) ima use it for gaming and programming mostly but i wanna have some fun with blender and editing softwares so
Tricky_Orange_4526@reddit
I'm confused. this whole post is basically you just typing out stuff and saying you won't listen to any recommendations so like just go figure it out lol.
No_Injury_5133@reddit (OP)
Iam not putting "rules" Iam just trying to see what is the best combo out of these 2 or maybe a combo in the middle for the same price, don't want someone to just go "lga1700 dead platform, 5060 is only 8gb, get a job and save some money" Like what
nnodante@reddit
First of all, It's the way youre wording the sentences, you come out as rude.
Second of all, nobody has even begun saying anything of that kind.
Third of all, maybe people would've been able to give you a better advice if you shared what u have, how much you can spend and where we can check the prices instead of posting down the list of what u dont want.
No_Injury_5133@reddit (OP)
Mb on the wording part i don't really text enough to know how to phrase smth really, the things i typed above is generally what i see on most reddit posts, i come from a laptop with hpu that has like 2gb of vram so the fps difference wont matter to me ima use either way and i tend to not find most of the parts i see on part picker cuz its mostly third world/chinese companies
nnodante@reddit
But u do have electronic stores in egypt, dont u? Just send the link to a site(s) you'd be ordering from
nnodante@reddit
I get the no amd card argument if he needs cuda but like his behaviour in general seems to be asshole-like
No_Injury_5133@reddit (OP)
English is not my first language and i tend to be more hostile when iam using it idk why thats on me tho
nnodante@reddit
Why not some 14400f and 5060ti then? Also why not some used older gen amd card?
No_Injury_5133@reddit (OP)
People sell used cards here like they are brand new in 202~ and i ain't tryna buy that + i wanna get Nvidia action especially with dlss frame gen and it being strong in blender / Ae or DaVinci
Jman85@reddit
They mentioned cuda.
nnodante@reddit
In the comments, after I have already sent my thing
No_Injury_5133@reddit (OP)
Also, No, I wont buy used Yes, i wont use amd for both cpu and gpu cuz ima use it for uni (programming) soon and maybe have some fun w the cuda shit (blender, Ae)
