What are some interesting/novel/creative CD experiences you had?

Back in the day, artists used to occasionally do some really out-of-the-box things with CDs. Off the top of my head, I remember two. One was the NIN Broken EP with the bonus tracks at 98 and 99. The other was the Billy Idol CD Cyberpunk that came with a floppy disk that was basically a press kit, with lyrics, intros, etc. Any others that you recall?

God's Mule did something interesting and I thought very inventive.
They did a double album. The first album was all the tracks they did on the album in their words and music.
The second disc they sent out to artist they respect to rewrite and sing their songs how they would. It was really interesting to listen to.
They also did the Deep End after their original bassist died and they brought in his favorite bassist to play a tribute album to him and also did a live version of it and recorded it during jazz fest.

I remember the Limp Bizkit album Significant Other had a video of a graffiti artist painting the cover to the album which was cool to see.

Primus' CD+ for Tales From The Punchbowl with the main attraction being that you could put it in the computer.

Going in to a small town music shop and seeing this sat on the shelf. It was an instant purchase, even though I already owned Insomniac.

Yes! There were a few novelty-shaped editions of CDs. I remember having one (not this Green Day one), but I can’t for the life of me remember whose it was.

I picked up a copy of Nirvana's Nevermind and discovered a hidden track several minutes after the album ended. It was my first time experiencing hidden tracks/Easter eggs.

Pizzicato 5's Sound of Music came with a card that looked like a real credit card with raised numbers and everything. I remember it said "all right reserved, all wrongs reversed." And something about rubbing it on your palm is good luck.
Also that Spiritualized album that came in a foil blister pack like a pill and looked like prescription medicine. Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space.

I remember a number of the artists having that hidden tracks that you had to skip past a bunch of blank tracks to get too thing. I want to say the Roots and Missy Elliott did it as well. It wasn't novel but I do miss extensive liner notes, I was one of those kind of music heads.
