Heading to Budapest in may (7th for a week) and wondering what kind of weather to pack for! Also any recommendations, was here before in October so have done a lot of the main tourist-y things but would love any and all recommendations, especially if there’s anything cool on this time of year!! Thanks a million :)

It really is all over the place, but better pack a hoodie with you since the morning can still be somewhat cold + it can be windy from time to time (it was quite brutal yesterday, despite the overall temperature being quite warm)
Definitely check out Fisherman’s Bastion, St. Stephen's Basilica (and its area), and the Great Market Hall for starters.

it's spring. weather could be anything. last year it was mostly cool, cloudy and rainy until june. check your favorite weather forecast the day before traveling and pack accordingly.
for all of your other basic questions, read the 'guide to budapest' which is featured on the side of this sub. you might have to do some extra reading, but it will be worth your time to do it.
