Decided to pull a classic, one of my favorites is Too Late for Love. The record player is from the 70’s…

One of the few LPs I bought, when it was almost new (Def Leppard were just about to release Hysteria, or just did). I bought an older AC/DC record (Scott era), regular price, sometime in the mid 80s.
I Most of my LPs I bought were used, or cuts/clips (sleeve intentionally altered/damaged and sold at a discount, so it could
not be returned for full price.

Saw them fall of 2024, and it was still great!!! So much fun, nostalgia, surprisingly, I still knew almost all the words. As did most of the audience over 45. Still love Hysteria.

This was one of my first CDs. Loved my parents vinyl of this album
PlanetAnark@reddit
I came up as a thrash metal guy, but still love the fuck outta this one. Absolute banger of an album.
Wandering_butnotlost@reddit
I saw them open for Billy Squire. Now i'm old.
Bokononfoma@reddit
Awesome. Far and away my favorite DL album. one of the first CDs I ever bought.
JE5573R@reddit
I've just shared this album with my neighbours... Whether they liked it or not. (Probably not tbh).
Great album. It had been a while since I'd listened to it. Really enjoyed it.
Ray_The_Engineer@reddit
I've got that vinyl!

Make a racial slur against folks in my home town, our locals place a curse on you and cost your drummer an arm.
Obvious_Round_5065@reddit
From that same home town. I remember.
Beetso@reddit
I love this album, but High and Dry is my definite favorite of theirs!
Adventurous-Fee-8158@reddit
Saw them last year and they fucking rocked it. This band has toured almost nonstop since 1983. Mad respect for them, and I’m not f-f-f-foolin’!
shuanm@reddit
I have that on vinyl as well. I wish I still had a record player. Ever notice that the drumming was the focus of that album? I think Rick Allen was the band before he lost his arm.
JohnGypsy@reddit
He still is. Man is amazing on his electronic kit even today. 👍

I like your record. 😎👍🏻
I like your record player. 😎👍🏻
Very well done😊
Dragnkat@reddit
pissed off my parents so many times with this one lol
sven_bohikus@reddit
Won this album for WDVE in 8th grade! I was the 7th caller!
Mixitman@reddit
Went to Music+ in my youth to grab this record and the dude at the counter handed me Iron Maiden: Piece of Mind and said “trust me”. I wish I could that that dude today.
PissedCaucasian@reddit
Glam rock trash. Although I must admit I do kinda like the song “autograph “ but that’s it.
Magpie2003@reddit
Good choice!

First cassette I owned. A&B side the entire summer I was 14. Comin Under Fire still hits right going from one speaker to the other.
Vivid_Engineering669@reddit (OP)
Cassette, the struggle was real.

jock rock

Dry-Menu140@reddit
Def an underrated song from that amazing album. This was actually the very first cassette I ever purchased.
blueblocker2000@reddit
I used to jam to Photograph and Rock Rock till you drop while playing Rad Racer on the Nes. those two tunes just fit the mood for some reason.
Comin' Under Fire and Diehard the Hunter are bad azz tunes.
FortheloveofSuki@reddit
This was the first record I ever bought. I LOVED Def Leppard. I saw them live 3 times in 1983.
hippiechick725@reddit
This is one of my all time favorites 😂
MaximumJones@reddit
What has nine arms and sucks?
Def Leppard. 😎
Seriously though, I LOVE this album. It is still in my rotation to this day.
coverallfiller@reddit
My favourite joke, my most hated band... and for no good reason... they engage with their fans, are talented, and charitable (allowing a school for deaf kids to use their name for sports teams).. just something makes me sick hearing their music.
cassette1987@reddit
My fav band (in the 80s) was The Smiths but godDAMNit this was a great record. So good.
LucyBear318@reddit
‘I said, welcome to my showwww!!!!’
Bl8kStrr@reddit
I still listen to Def Leppard daily!!! Probably my favorite band if I look at songs played on Spotify. Def Leppard was great in concert then and still sound good now
amsurette@reddit
Saw these guys in concert when I was 19. Such a great show.
80s_baby90s_mademe@reddit
Oh hell yeah
Reddiculusness@reddit
I bought their On Through The Night album when it came out, because of the Truck on the cover My dad drove big rigs, and he approved of it, until I played it - definitely not his type of music.
I listened to that record with a headset every night before bed for a long time , and can still remember the song order and almost every single lyric on it still to this day
donewithitfirst@reddit
So many hits from that band! Pour some sugar on me, my goodness.
Base_Ancient@reddit
My all time favorite.
neoyeti2@reddit
“Gunter Glieben Glauten Globen”
MusicalAutist@reddit
Ummmmhuhuhuhuhuhm Awwwright

I wore this sucker OUT back in the 80s. I loved this record so much.

rock this place to the ground
elkchasermt@reddit
Pyromania was the album that got me into rock. I hadn’t been exposed to it because country was all my parents listened to.
Channel_Huge@reddit
One of my favorites!!!
xt0rt@reddit
People tend to diss Def Leopard as "what an 80smom t Thinks a Rick band is", and while that may be true, I like them anyway.
