Miata+motorcycle engine swap+front wheel drive conversion for ICE+two electric motors in the back.
I think the balanced weight distribution can be achieved with motorcycle engine swap plus front wheel drive. And I guess the weight will increase by like 200kg (450 lb). I would expect getting the control unit right would be a nightmare though.
Doesn't it sound fun? A 10,000 rpm screaming, instant torque, all wheel drive, still light, 918 spyder from temu?
Let me know how delusional I am.

Ignoring the logistical NIGHTMARE this would be. You would be taking the miata chasis which is known for being
And making it
A. Significantly heavier B. FWD biased C. Overly complicated
If you want a 10k rpm FWD car get a honda fit and k swap it. Then if for some reason you hate having a working car put an e axle in the back

First off, you saying this under the assumption that a 50/50 weight distribution is ideal. That is a common misconception, but its incorrect.

EV miatas were running in the 8s over a decade ago. What more do you want?

Apparently a motor cycle engine also.... Then it can rev louder.

Lol I know right.
For example this is awesome.

While we're daydreaming, can you buy me a winning mega millions ticket?

There’s no reason for the ICE. Tesla model 3 performance drivetrains has over a 300hp motor in the rear and a 150hp motor in the front. That’s more power than a Miata will ever needed

Nah I'm good.

Transverse FWD motorcycle engine + electric motors?
The motors would overwhelm the engine. That much torque would probably twist the chassis. And where do the batteries go?
And every other car would still crush this Frankenstein.

The fwd motorcycle engine is just dumb.
There have been EV miata drag cars running in the 8s for over a decade. Ev torque is fine.

Just do a hayabusa powered miata and make your life easier. with ot without turbos have been done and are fast AF.
OR
Just do an electric miata.
Either option with a real tire will fly.
Healthy_Pain9582@reddit
I think it would be a lot heavier than that if you were to install a battery for the electric motors.

As long as I have a hole in my arse, this isn't happening. Happy to be proved wrong though.

Its easy to think of stuff.
Aleutian_Solution@reddit
There would be so much going into that that it likely wouldn’t even be worth the effort
