Did any makers had zero problems with their first and second gen plug-ing and hybrids in the last ten years ? It seems they all had some major growing pains.
Dunaii4@reddit
That's lithium ion batteries for you.
Guzxxxy@reddit
Why would you ever buy a hybrid JLR product
Dunaii4@reddit
To get past those pesky ULEZ mall carparks.
lael8u@reddit
Are these the PHEVs or the Mild Hybrid?
kstetter@reddit (OP)
Hybrid
slackwiw@reddit
so the answer is… ”yes”
kstetter@reddit (OP)
I answered it, mild hybrid. It wasn't a yes or no question?
keeb02@reddit
He asked what type of hybrid and you just said “hybrid”
kstetter@reddit (OP)
Which means mild hybrid
Fearless_Neat_6654@reddit
Regular hybrids and mild hybrids are different
kstetter@reddit (OP)
oh
Potential-Mix-8385@reddit
PHEVs are considered hybrids
DaggumTarHeels@reddit
PHEV's are hybrids.
kstetter@reddit (OP)
I think it's Mild Hybrids

Heres to many more…feel like all the oddball bev EV phev hybrid etc. that came out of the woodwork in recent years are like complicated pet projects that will have little support in the near future unless you find decent independent shops that will work on them.
TunakTun633@reddit
Wow, JLR is actually fixing an electrical problem. Kudos to them!
kstetter@reddit (OP)
Has Jeep fixed theirs yet?
TunakTun633@reddit
Absolutely not. They’re just gonna stop making them.
It’s shameful. They would be such excellent products, if only they could be trusted. The Pacifica Hybrid has been the best minivan for roughly a decade.
R_V_Z@reddit
I mean, that's all of Jaguar right now.
hi_im_bored13@reddit
Would be easier to type out what it doesn't affect
dont-YOLO-ragequit@reddit
AI would flip it and bring bad press to these models.
Quick_Coyote_7649@reddit
Feel like this means it affects basically all of the cars of JLR
