Cauliflower, carrots, potatoes, onion, leek and random leftover vegetables from the fridge, boiled and blended into a goop. With a dash of shredded mozzarella. I love vegetable goop.

My friends lovingly refer to my preferred meals when cooking just for myself as "the things they serve in prison camps".
Fearless_March_1791@reddit
lol same, my dinners look like a sad science experiment too… but sometimes that goop hits different, ya know?

Why do you hate chewing OP?
blender-enthusiast@reddit (OP)
I spent a lot of money and time fixing my teeth so I'm really protective of them now.
skronk61@reddit
Can’t argue with that

Goop never looks good in the pot. But once it's in a bowl dressed with toasted breadcrumbs or a swirl of watered down sour cream, it looks great. Just like the difference between getting out of bed vs getting dressed and ready for the day.

I'd say blend it a bit further with stock or water with a boullion cube, serve in a bowl then add a chopped fresh green herb on top. Just my two cents. I love soup and I love your food goop stuff.
blender-enthusiast@reddit (OP)
A bouillon cube was definitely involved in this, along with other seasoning, to be clear. As for serving it in a bowl, sure, it's more civilized, but if I know I made a portion I will eat whole, I might as well eat it from the pot which keeps it warm for longer, allowing me to eat slower, and ends up being one dish less to wash. I can do fancy but if no one sees me I eat like a rat, and like it.

Gruel. Looks nutritious at least.
Striking_Physics1894@reddit
At least it appears to already be digested. Oh, and your drinks are wrong - I'm sure that prison camps have higher standards than this.
Few-Echo-6953@reddit
Fiber goop. Did it look the same coming out??
blender-enthusiast@reddit (OP)
A bit darker.
its10pm@reddit
Why puree it?
blender-enthusiast@reddit (OP)
I like things blended.

I legit thought it was sick for a moment
BYOKittens@reddit
This would be great as a filling in a fall ravioli.
Jeramy_Jones@reddit
Damn everyone be gettin on the gruel these days.
Next-Drink8593@reddit
This is not the first time I’ve seen something that reminds me of Jackass’s Vomit Omlette skit.
Cosmonaut_Cockswing@reddit
Kind of a potage.
violentdeepfart@reddit
This is just soup with a bit less water than usual, but it looks pretty tasty to me. I like my soups to be a bit thicker so it's less watery and more filling. This is the opposite of what you'd be served in a prison camp though, which would be very watery and have minimal vegetables.
templeofsyrinx1@reddit
This qualifies as a struggle meal
ak1425@reddit
As long as you get your nutrients!! It sounds good
budbailey74@reddit
How long was your sentence?
blender-enthusiast@reddit (OP)
Was? They still won't let me out!

😂
Thats-Awkward@reddit
I would scarf this down
MuchDevelopment7084@reddit
I call my version 'smish'. Although I do add whatever leftover meat I may have available.
Furious_Worm@reddit
Is it like split pea soup? It actually looks awesome.
blender-enthusiast@reddit (OP)
It's just all the vegetables mentioned boiled together (except for onion that gets special treatment and is fried on a pan with butter first) until they're somewhat al-dente, then I blend it a bit (it's essential they are not mushy when the blender comes because then the chunks are way different) and continue cooking until they're just right softness-wise, and done.

Vegetable goop seems tasty to me, I also love goop. Goop is good. Enjoy your goop!

This would be deemed cruel and unusual punishment even in AZ.
