Hey guys I've been building PCs as a freelancer and somehow lost touch and got an order for building a server and need guidance from you guys. Please comment or DM and I'll share the whole story
Thankyou

Why would you bother to make a post and not include why you made the post

Made the post cuz I need some guidance on the project I'm gonna work which I've mentioned in the post ig

Well good luck with your non-descript problem you won't tell us about then.

I apologise for not clearly mentioning that the thing is I've been asked to build a workstation pc for a client for who I've built a couple of gaming PCs and this server is a completely new field for me since the hardware can be assembled but the networking, and the right OS and some other things are there right that's the area that I want help from you guys
It's literally like 1.30am in the morning and I'm still working on my tasks that resulted in the shitty post without descriptions

i just did a nas build that i spent 17$ on that has 3 big hdds, three ssds and a gen3 nvme. pulled celeron and ram off old mining board. and used the case and psu from gaming prebuilt bought 7 years ago (the amd),
it idles at 31 watts and i havent tuned bios. im probably going to add two more drives just to 'fill the space.' But really theres a lot. im probably going to post something with pictures very soon.

I'm not going somewhere else to read something to help you back here. Jesus if you want help from Reddit put the info needed ON REDDIT.
Otherwise don't take the order on something you know nothing about, and stick to what you know.

Just post your question here instead of asking for a DM.

tha-man-with-a-plan@reddit (OP)

you spend the least amount of money on a thing you do not touch for months (years if you do it right; low dust enviornments.) but you should use it daily and it should not cost a lot of money to do that (electricity.) and it will only be upgraded when the thing its supposed to do isnt happening as you have come to expect it to.

Will keep that in mind
