4K Gaming PC Build, need help to ensure components are balanced

Hi everyone!
I'm fully aware that PC building market right now is pretty much fuck due to all the price increasing and such, but i always had PC for gaming and i want to go back to it. I have been using for the last 3 years a gaming laptop with good specs (AORUS 15P KD w/Intel i7 11800H 11th gen + Geforce RTX 3060) but i want to go back to PC for a while now. I'm not planning to sell the laptop because is useful when i need to travel to another country.
My main use for the new PC is to use it for higher definition to have a full use of my 27" ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQMR monitor at 4k and from time to time use the PC on my 55" (1080p on the big TV is OK btw)
I looked around some other builds on pcpartpicker, reviews of components and i even had to ask Gemini (yeah yeah, i know, AI is the reason certain components are very pricy, but i have been out of PC technologies for a long while so i needed some extra guidance) and end up finding this components that in stock where i live (Czechia)

Note: The case that i actually wanted to buy is the NZXT H6 Flow but for some reason pcpartpicker doesn't have that model listed but has the H5 and H7, so i added the H7 just to have that one on the list. This is the one that i found and wanted to buy https://www.alza.cz/EN/nzxt-h6-flow-black-d8064139.htm
I intend to use the PC for single player gaming. I don't have plans to stream, or play competitive gaming at all, but i want to play some heavier games like Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon Forbidden West and Pragmata (apparently is not as heavy like the other two but you still need a good PC to run it well with higher settings)
Are the parts well balanced? Can i improve pricing anywhere else? I already changed the SSD from the Samsung 990 PRO to the Kingston KC3000 and the memory i selected originally one with 6000MHZ and i switched that to one with 5600 that's a bit cheaper but the performance difference shouldn't be much.
I also read that the case + that cooler have a tight fit but you can get both, i just need to ensure that i connect the CPU power before mounting the cooler. Should i be worried with that case about the glass breaking like is so common with some people that they touch the glass on certain surface and it breaks?
Finally, i think that i can buy everything but the GPU now and pay it in 2 installments and buy the GPU later. The credit card allows me to purchase something and i have 55 days to pay it before interest start been added, so i can buy and pay half, and pay the other half 30 days later. After that, i can buy the GPU. I know that without the GPU i won't be able to run everything with high settings but i can use to play a lot of older games in the meantime while i ensure that the rest of the PC is stable.

Do this instead. The 9070Xt is a better card than the 5070. Overall its cheaper too without losing performance.

Any particular reason for changing most parts of the build? Is it mostly to keep similar performance but make the overall build cheaper?
Bichaelcycle@reddit
Its cheaper and its better because the 9070xt is a better gpu than the 5070
BlckEagle89@reddit (OP)
Got it, let me check those components against the ones that I originally selected. Thanks for taking the time to redo the list almost from scratch.
NotSodiumFree@reddit
Yeah 5070 isn’t going to do 4k gaming very well. I’d really be looking at 5080 as a 5070ti may be ok on some titles and really struggle on others
BlckEagle89@reddit (OP)
I changed the GPU to the 9070XT which has a similar price than the 5070
NotSodiumFree@reddit
thats a better choice. It is for sure a 4k gpu. keep in mind it is more work to manage the drivers and get all of the features working in each game. But its so much cheaper that honestly its worth it.
BlckEagle89@reddit (OP)
Sorry for been so ignorant, but what do you mean that is more work? I know NVIDIA has a app that adjust some stuff by it's own on each game, does AMD doesn't have that and you need to adjust settings manually?
Tulpin@reddit
At 4K, the difference in frame rates between a 6-core (9600X) and an 8-core (9700X) or the X3D CPU in titles like Cyberpunk 2077 or Horizon Forbidden West is typically less than 5%. Putting the savings where they will make a difference in 4k gaming.
The Math: 9600X vs. 7800X3D (Czechia Market)
get 9070XT or 5070Ti for the 16gb of Vram.
BlckEagle89@reddit (OP)
I updated the GPU but left the same CPU in the end, should look better now
Also, for the CPU, you mean that i could put a "smaller" CPU for a cheaper build and still get pretty similar performance?
Tulpin@reddit
Yeah the you don't need x3d to push 4k frames at the rates a 5070ti or 9070 xt will make them... i'd only go x3d with 5090 for that
BlckEagle89@reddit (OP)
Ok, then that GPU/CPU combo is enough for now. Thanks
Tulpin@reddit
may 5080...

All in all a good list but I’d go for the 9800x3d, up the ram to 6000 and ditch the 5070 in favour of a 5080
5070 isn’t a “true” 4K card, will it do it? Yes but it’s the 80/90 models that are 4K cards.
BlckEagle89@reddit (OP)
I changed the GPU to the 9070XT which has a similar price than the 5070
FloxaY@reddit
pcpartpocker has the h6 flow but it is not listed by default as "compatibility filter" is on and the arctic aio and nzxt case are not compatible.
BlckEagle89@reddit (OP)
Yeah, that was the issue, i forgot about that. Maybe is not listed as compatible because the fit is tight. I changed the case to the H7. I liked the diagonal distribution of the front fans though, but is not a dealbreaker
TheCloth@reddit
This looks like a decent build, but for 4k you’ll be GPU bound - any chance you can upgrade to a 5070ti or 5080? Where I live the 9800x3d isn’t much more than the 7800x3d so you can consider that but GPU is definitely the priority
Big-Pineapple-9954@reddit
The AMD RX 9070 XT is also 4k capable, and will be a little cheaper than a 5070ti or 5080, but at least one of thosr 3 would be reccomend for 4k gaming.
And I agree on the 9800x3d, it's a better choice often.
BlckEagle89@reddit (OP)
I just changed the GPU to the Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9070 XT
Thanks for the recomendation
TheCloth@reddit
Thanks! AMD cards are a big blind spot for me as I just don’t really know them that well so I appreciate you adding that in. I definitely need to be more familiar with them to give balanced advice here especially for those looking for a slightly cheaper option.
Also OP great choice with the H6 Flow, that’s the case I’m rocking too
