Where to even begin?? It's a constant daily hellscape of cruelty and stupidity. It's been heading increasingly in this direction since the Reagan administration around the time I was born.

• Healthcare is crazy expensive and it sucks
• College is stupid expensive and barely gets you "ahead" financially without an advanced degree, but you came (in most cases) get past your state minimum wage without it
• Federal minimum wage has stagnated at $7.25/hour since 2009
• Guns, guns everywhere, constant shootings
• Apparently measels are back because an addict psychopath in charge of healthcareis taking people vaccines are bad
• Climate change is being ignored and made 1000x worse cuz why not
• No more Dept of Education (excused by results from Republicans steadily defending for decades)
• No more worker protections (defunded OSHA)
• Want a house? No, fuck you. It's at least $400k for anything decent and you need a credit score and a down payment and a high AF income
• No federal guaranteed sick days, parental leave
• Half a million people go bankrupt from medical bills each year
• ICE omfg everthing about it is horrible
• Cuba blockade
• Venezuela clusterfuck
• Iran disaster holy shit it's all so stupid and awful
• NATO/Greenland debacle
• Tarriff nonsense
• The ballroom/bunker and the arch
• Trump only cozying up with dictators
• THE EPSTEIN FILES and how nobody is doing anything
• Attempts to rig midterm elections in Republicans' favor
• Gov cutting or eliminating dozens of social programs to give more tax cuts to billionaires and bomb brown people instead of giving us citizens Healthcare and education and programs for homeless and addicts and single parents
• The right wing's war on women, outlay abortion in some states, pushing for lack of sex education, lowering age of consent, and if course continuing to protect predators

I could go on and on, but the bottom line is: every reasonable American is horrified, afraid, angry, and fed the fuck up, but with a Republican majority in all branches of government, the only things to save us are the midterms (we'll see how that goes with the SAVE Act looming and mail-in voting being undermined) and/or a civil war (and the MAGAs have most of the guns)

I, personally, want to get the hell out of here but am overwhelmed by the prospect of actually leaving and trying to get somewhere before I'm technically a refugee (think we're heading that way). Any advice, people of the world? Lol
