Best Gaming GPU for €400-€500?

I'm building my first gaming PC for a total budget of around €1000-€1200 give or take, I've been thinking to go rx 9060 xt 16gb but lately lots of people have been saying that it's not really a good GPU anymore. Tips??

try and get a second hand 9070xt

Buy an RX 7800XT for 350 used, its a beast.

I wouldnt get 1440p if u have less than 9070xt / 5070ti unless u are fine with under 100 fps

I don't really play many competitive games, more single players like tlou, god of war, resident evil, etc. so i think the fps should be okay?

Your post is pointless because you never told us the resolution you want to play on and the rest of your pc specs

I had 7900xtx and upscaling and framegen was shit, now i have an 5070ti and feel like unlocking a new era after i discovered how good nvidia is with upscaling , path tracing and framegen. What are the prices in ur area for a 9060xt 16gb and 5070 ?

What were you playing that you needed upscaling and frame gen on a 7900XTX? Not judging just curious.

Any single player game can benefit from. I like having 100+ fps on non shooting games or games likw cyberpunk 150fps.
I can max cyberpunk on x3 framegen 150 fps on 1440 quality including path tracing and i like how the game looks and feels with
I can play crimson desert on x3 framegen 4k perf all max and i like how it looks and feels.
These settings were never a possibility for me in 7900xtx or on my frienss 9070xt

Fair enough, I just run native and for single players I am happy with anything above 30 FPS :))

A 9060 xt 16gb is around €430-€480 and the 5070 16gb can be up to €1100 where I am
TopTransportation604@reddit
Depending on your appetite for risk you can look maybe at second hand market

There is no 5070 16gb, do you mean 5070ti?

What is this based on? Stop saying random shit

Stretch to 550 for 5070 or 9070. Otherwise 9060xt 16gb for 400.
coolboy856@reddit
9060 XT 16gb is rarely 400€ these days, more like 430-440.
5070/9070 definitely aren't 550.
SmeshU@reddit
Theres a 9060xt for 408 right now on amazon, seen it below 400. And multiple 9070 and 5070 below 600 too.
coolboy856@reddit
Used 3080/Ti or used 9070
Vaxtez@reddit
Used 3080
Illustrious_Law182@reddit
For that price:
9060XT or buy something better, but used.
No other realistic options.
esw123@reddit
New 9060XT 16 GB or used RTX 4070 for 400 euro. For 500 not that much options but for 600 you can get 9070/5070 or used 3090.
Nebyl_@reddit
The RX 9060 XT 16GB is still a solid card at that price, the negativity online is mostly Nvidia fans and some early driver complaints that AMD has since patched. For a first build at €400-500 it's genuinely one of the better value options right now, especially the 16GB variant which gives you real headroom.
At 1080p it's excellent, at 1440p it handles most titles comfortably on high settings. The 16GB VRAM is a legitimate advantage over competing Nvidia cards at the same price that ship with 8GB.
If you want to compare it against other options in that range before deciding, I'd look through https://best-gpu.com and filter to your budget. Worth seeing the full picture before committing, since the rest of your €600-700 for the remaining parts matters too.

The Rx 9060xt 16gb is still a great gpu. I have really never seen say it is not good.
