Is bundling auto insurance with other policies worth it?

Run the actual numbers first. Bundling usually saves 5–15% but not always. I bundled renters and auto with Alpa Insurance and it beat having them separate but I still checked.

Yes, its called an umbrella policy.
I have a $5million homeowners/property insurance policy that also covers all my cars.
I pay $1200/yr for it, and adding a new car hardly changes it.
I'm almost 40 with 2 accidents, and 4 speeding tickets on record. Also a $60k act-of-god claim for a new roof from a freak hailstorm (which affected basically half my town, business was good for roofers, PDR and body shops for a few months)

Man, I couldn’t believe it when I didn’t see a “sponsored” tag on this. It sounds just like an ad to me.

Yes it usually is. I bundled my home and auto insurance with Belairdirect and saved close to 15% total.

Yeah, totally worth it to get as much under one policy. State Farm is who I use.

In my experience, it has been well worth it. But that industry is undergoing lots of change. So it's worthwhile getting some new quotes from time to time.
