That case is not going to have any real airflow so parts are going to overheat and might even crash
The 5070 will be so bottleneck by how slow the 5500 is and it only being a pcie gen 3 capable cpu. This mean that the 5070 will not run at full speed leaving tons of performance on the table and just is kind of wasted in this pc.
Also the bios not being the most recent meaning it will not post.
ultrawide 1440p gaming isnt the greatest due to less pixel density
look at the intel arc b580 rather than the 5060 with this build, see if anything your going to use it for specifically needs an nvidia gpu or is held back by an intel gpu.
either that, or you could push your budget to a 9060xt 16gb / 5060ti 16gb
Not how that works, my 4060 Ti still works pretty good with 8GB at 1440p. Generally 12 to 16 is great, 8 is pretty good but not great for high resolution, demanding gaming, 6 is not good, 4 sucks
We need more info. What is your performance target? 1440p high fps? Budget?
You'll be leaving some performance on the table by pairing a 5070 with a 5500 cpu. If you're willing to spend more, move up to am5 system like a 7500f, 7600x etc...Otherwise drop the gpu a tier to balance the parts better.
My budget is around 900-1000€, im going to play doom dark ages, dying light the beast and balatro, 1440p ultra wide, performance as high as possible, obviously
With that budget, 1440p ultrawide AAA gaming is going to be rough (doom the dark ages especially). The 5070 or better would be appreciated. I recommend sticking with it and saving until you can get an AM5 system. You don't need the craziest cpu as you'll be GPU-bound the majority of the time but a 5500 is too slow.
Because it’ll be a bottleneck - your CPU and RAM will be dying trying to catch up with the GPU and the high settings you’ve set for it, and since the CPU isn’t great you won’t get the performance you hope for, so you wasted 600 eur when you could’ve paid 300ish for equal performance with like a 3060, assuming the GPU market there is similar
Assuming you have a large enough SSD already, you can get an AM5 build by getting a cheaper GPU, a cheaper PSU, and stretch your budget by around 15 euros.
Feel free to further modify this build if you want something else.

How about this thingy? It has better cpu

ecktt@reddit
Not bad, given RAM prices.
For the same money, you can get a Montech CENTURY II 850Watt.
I would also spend a few dollars more on a B550 chipset motherboard as it supports PCIE 4.0.

The allocation of budget is not great

Where is the storage
9erc@reddit
what is a good case to buy?
Hmmm71-8@reddit
depends on what the other specs are
Odd-Anywhere7195@reddit (OP)
I have storage at home
Hmmm71-8@reddit
Ok if you already have storage something like this is going to be more balanced https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/b9yYH3

obviously worse gpu, though leaves a great start to add an extra ram stick, gpu, even cpu later on upgrades wise.
Odd-Anywhere7195@reddit (OP)
But it has 8GB of vram, doesnt that mean its horrible gpu that nobody should use in 2026?
TechnoGMNG589@reddit
1080p or 1440p?
Odd-Anywhere7195@reddit (OP)
3440x1440

Ultrawide 1440p is awesome. Great middleground between 4k being difficult to run and regular 1440p getting a bit stale imo
TechnoGMNG589@reddit
nvm realised this is 3440:1440 not 2560:1440
TechnoGMNG589@reddit
Im talking about the visual quality

dont get the 5500. Get the 5600 instead, if you dont mind search for Used if you want to save money
https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/s/0mcjUZgSYK
take a look at this. The 5500 is safe to say “kind of weak”
conabegame1@reddit
5070 seems a bit overkill with the rest of those parts, I’d say either get a better CPU or a worse GPU
Odd-Anywhere7195@reddit (OP)
why should i get worse GPU if i can get better GPU?
conabegame1@reddit

So according to you I should deliberately buy a worse GPU so my weak CPU doesn't feel bad?
daanos60@reddit
Get a 5600, it's a lot better. If you spend too little on your cpu your gpu won't reach its full potential
conabegame1@reddit
Exactly. Or a better CPU. They should be balanced and your budget shouldn’t be 65% GPU 35% everything else
tevertex@reddit
I'm a noob at pc buildings but isn't the 5070 way too much, Like won't it bottleneck or something
Hmmm71-8@reddit
to answer your question yes a 5070 would be bottlenecked by the ryzen 5 5500
