New GLE 580 — transmission replaced at 2k miles, still not fixed after 5 weeks. What would you do?

I leased a new Mercedes-Benz GLE 580 and within \~2,000 miles it developed transmission issues. The dealer ended up replacing the entire transmission.
The problem is… it’s still not fixed.
The car has now been at the dealership for about 5 weeks total, and they’re telling me they’re still having trouble resolving it.
I’m trying to figure out the smartest next move here:
Push for a buyback / lemon law?
Give them another repair attempt?
Should I keep the car if they fix it?
This is my first time dealing with something like this, especially on a brand-new car. Curious what others would do in this situation.

5 weeks is already past the trigger point for lemon law in most jurisdictions.
Always sucks to special order something only to have it be a sh!t filled twinkie.
Macan S or Cayenne is a nice alternative.

That’s what I’m thinking…. Lemon law says I should get all my money back, so that’ll be a nice down payment.

I'd ask for a collateral replacement if you like the car otherwise.
if you don't like it, have them buy it back and go lease a different car.

It was a custom spec that I’m not sure can be replicated. Just for fun, what else would you get? X5M. Or maybe a Porsche Cayenne?

not sure. I like Volvos, but even the nicest XC90 is probably a slight step down from a loaded Benz or Porsche.
always wanted a Porsche, so probably the Cayenne.
