Is it safe to buy RX 6800 XT / 6900 XT from CeX (Webuy)?

Hi, I’m from Italy / Europe and I’m looking for advice before buying a used GPU.
I found an RX 6800 XT for around €400 and an RX 6900 XT for around €425 on CeX (Webuy Italy).
Is it safe and reliable to buy GPUs from CeX for gaming (medium-high / high settings), or would you recommend avoiding used GPUs from this site and buying elsewhere?
Also, are these GPUs generally tested well enough to ensure they are in good condition, or is there a high risk of mining cards / heavy used units?
Any feedback or personal experience would be really appreciated.

Not sure about Italy but here in the UK CEX give a 5 warranty and seem decent at supporting customers. If I was buying a secondhand gpu the CEX is one of the few places I would use and I’d be willing to pay a little extra for the warranty.

Thanks, that helps. In Italy we also have a 5-year warranty from CeX, so it seems similar here too.
The only thing I wasn’t sure about is whether it’s actually a good place to buy a used GPU for gaming, or if it’s better to avoid it and look elsewhere. I mainly want to make sure it’s a safe option for a gaming build.

It’s probably the safest way to buy secondhand. They test components before selling and you have a warranty. Even if you buy brand new there is a small % chance of a faulty product needing to be returned.

Not every store has the ability to test pc parts properly though, they would need so many combinations of systems to cover everything. Returning stuff is usually ok though.

Use common sense, what is reasonable and what is too good to be true. Some personal experiences can't guarantee safe shopping for everyone, stay vigilant.

Thanks for the advice. I don’t know much about the current GPU market, so I just wanted to ask if these prices (RX 6800 XT / 6900 XT around €400–425) are actually reasonable and safe, or if there are any red flags I should watch out for. I’ll definitely try to stay careful either way.

it sounds reasonable, considering they're a few generations old by now. i bought a 6700xt a few years ago for about 400 euro new, so i wouldn't say that a used 6800xt for the same amount in the current year would be a complete scam. still using the gpu, has been a good and stable workhorse for my gaming purposes. :)
