Small pc full build request
Posted by LaRRuON@reddit | buildapc | View on Reddit | 7 comments
Hello, redditors.
I would like to ask a collective mind to help with pc build. Main point for new build - I would love to have relatively small pc, to be able to easily move it - kinda “backpack ready” :) (my current full tower with hardened glass plate and etc - huge and heavy)
My budget is not fixed, i just aim to get best cost/value according to my requirement(state). Let say it‘s 1200€, but can be increased if needed. Display/peripherals are not counted here, I have it)
Im aiming to 1080@144 without plans to switch to 2k or 4k resolution.
Current setup is : i7 8700k, 32Gb DDR4, rtx2070 , and I’m thinking about salvaging a ram for budgeting reasons :) but anyway, glad to hear your thoughts.
“Main” game is PoE1, and I would like to play PoE2, but perfomance/experience is quite miserable for current specs, even POE1 is lagging in endgame. I’ve playing other games as well, like Squad and Arma:Reforger with friends, but it seems they less struggling on current pc (even it’s not so enjoyable with intermittent lags and fps around 60)
thanks everyone in advance!

Seems good and reasonable. Many thanks, noted.
Ok_Cover_3822@reddit
Wouldn't go with more than 65w tdp cpu for temps

Thanks, will check

I did something kinda similar recently. I got lucky I bought my ssd before those got expensive.
I went 7800x3d, 32gb and kept my 2080super. Got a lot of FPS in battlefield and any gpu I may upgrade to in the future wont get bottlenecked.,

Thank you. Ya, I definitely get bottlenecked by CPU in PoE cuz in I see 15-17+ms on CPU in perf graph. It can be worth to check how old gpu will behave in new system. Thanks for idea
