Police detain Modiin man for wearing kippa with Israeli, Palestinian flags, cut out the Palestinian one

It’s just another little thing that shows there is absolutely no tolerance for Palestinians in Israel. The kippa is even confiscated and mutilated because it had a Palestinian flag on it. Imagine getting a tattoo of the Palestinian flag on your arm!
But, never fear, “Israelis want peace, that’s why they attack all Palestinian, Muslim and Christian symbols. That’s what you do when you want peace, right?
HockeyHocki@reddit
He wore that kippa for 20 years, clearly it has been tolerated. Try walk around any conservative islamic country holding a quran adorned with the israeli flag, see how long till you're left swinging from a rope
dont want religious hardliners taking issue with you? dont use devotional articles to make your political statements
Riley_@reddit
Did you come here just to admit that the Israeli flag is a symbol of fascist violence?
Left-Bird8830@reddit
Do you think the police’s actions here are OK? Do you want more societies like this?
bradicality@reddit
They do, they love these police actions and want to marry them
Desperately, they demonstrate this every time they limply defend the fascist fruitcake entity
hey_you_yeah_me@reddit
Your edit is embarrassing and cringe. Achieving the exact opposite of what you wanted. I haven't even read the other comments and I'm already on their side
Treadwheel@reddit
No, it just means that the police hadn't previously felt so emboldened to act on their intolerance that they'd openly destroy it. Your claim is akin to responding to a state book burning by saying "Well, that book was published 20 years ago and the police only confiscated and burned it today, so clearly it's been tolerated."
Not an argument
"But anyway, he had it coming" as a closing statement really ties the whole comment together.
Prosthemadera@reddit
Irrelevant. Now it isn't.
People like you so disgusting.
your_poo@reddit
You walk around Germany wearing a nazi flag then
SpinningHead@reddit
Israeli leaders have been wearing noose lapel pins.
latswipe@reddit
SUMMARY: Israel proves its superior tolerance over the Muslim horde by not cutting the Israeli flag off the kippah
your_red_triangle@reddit
This is such a dumb take. The equivalent to holding a quran adorned with the israeli flag, would be trying to walk around with a Kippa with a nazi flag on.
The fact he's been punished for showing support for a two state solution, tells you exactly what the Nazi state of Israel thinks of the Palestinians.
overtoke@reddit
israelis will spit in your mouth if you tell them you are christian. they have been committing genocide for 76 years.
you seem to think there's nothing going on that would cause someone to treat an israeli a certain way.
SpontaneousFlame@reddit (OP)
lol. Both “it was tolerated so there’s no intolerance” and “it’s reasonable to do this.” Well done trying to have it both ways, and throwing a bit of whataboutism into it as well. Is there some sort of hasbara prize you will win?
I preferred it when you blocked me, so goodbye.

Even their own people are anti-semetic. Those poor poor people persecuted all throughout history. Hundreds of countries kicked them, were brutal to them, they were enslaved. My heart goes out to them.
gudfrid@reddit
you misunderstand, that flag is HAMAS. So it needs to be removed to ensure the safety and security of the rest of the kippa. The poor kippa has a right to defend itself!

Lmao so much about how Israelis treat kippa high levels of respect, isn't it supposed to be a sacred object?
The cops who desecrated it with scissors are disgusting.
Sinclair's Kippa is more Jewish concept (representing desire for two peoples to live together) than the act of those bastard cops.
Guess for bunch of Israelis, the Jewishness of the state is only valuable when it aligns with their specific political agenda.
