HP ProDesk 600 G3 SFF with a full size gpu; is it possible?

For some context, im looking to buy a HP ProDesk 600 G3 SFF and make it into a gaming pc by adding a GTX 1660 (and upgrading the ram). I know it won't fit inside the case, but i saw a video of a person mounting the GPU externally which looked pretty cool (with some sort of mount and cable extender). I can understand that the psu would probably need to be upgraded? idk, im not the most inclined with this stuff but i have some understanding
Specs of the HP ProDesk 600 G3 SFF:
CPU: intel core i5-7500
RAM: 8gb ddr4
storage: 256gb ssd
PSU: 180W

Honestly, I think you are better off buying a proper used PC for a bit more. Otherwise, you'll need to buy a PCIe extension. The PSU can't be upgraded because it has special connectors. Additionally, this PC doesn't officially support Windows 11 because it uses a 7th gen Intel processor. The RAM will be limiting you as well.
Basically, you'd need to do too many janky things that are not worth the effort and money.
I think you can get a Ryzen PC with an equivalent GPU for less that also has 16 GB RAM and without the extra stuff.
But that's my opinion, I did with a HP Compaq 8200 Elite CMT in the past like upgrades etc but then didn't bother upgrading it because in my eyes it's kinda wasting your money into something it's old and switched to used AM4 stuff entirely.
Or why did you choose this path , just asking out of curiosity.
