Should I become a pilot if the conventional CPL route is my only option?

I see a lot of people choosing cadet pilot programs and describing the conventional route as “risky.”I know its riskier than the cadet program but is it so really risky that I could realistically end up jobless long term?I live in a region where general aviation is not very active, so after completing my training my main options would likely be airlines or becoming a flight instructor. Even flight instructing is not very common in my area, though it is still a possible path.

This completely depends on what country you live in.

Throw in all your personal details and options into an AI model, it will help you organize the pros and cons.
Unfortunately none of us will have any great insight to give you, aside from things you already know, like this being only your decision to make.
Risk is a part of decision making but only you know the finer details.

Move somewhere where there are jobs? Aviation is one of those careers were you need to go to the work.

That's not really an option as I don't have the right to work in the EU expect the country that I am residing in.

Nobody can give you advice if they don't know what country you live in.
