AM4 or AM5

Hello everyone. I'm planning to build a PC and have 2 combos in mind. Pricing in my country is shit, so both of them cost around 1400$.
AM4 specs are R7 5700x, rtx 5060 and 32 gb RAM
AM5 specs are R5 7500f, same GPU and 16 gb RAM. Other parts are the same (B550 and B850 mobos).
I mostly play on 1080p and usually some strategies (TW, CK3, Stellaris), sandbox games (rimworld, Minecraft, both with mods) and a bit shooters (CS2 rarely, helldivers 2). Previous rig was laptop with i5 10th series and 1650, didn't have any problem (aside from low graphics settings).
Which one will be better?

am5 for rimworld,, also just in general. you want the best cpu you can afford to run really modded rimworld, and decent ram so it can keep up; ive run it very modded fine on both a 16gb 14th gen and a 32gb ryzen 7600, just play the latest release+supported mods, with the performance fix mods aswell, makes everything better

Am5 because next gen will also work on Am5 so you will be able to upgrade again with the same motherboard

7500f if they both cost the same. 7500f has better IPC, so you will see an increase in performance at 1080p in more CPU bound scenarios compared to the 5700x.

I would suggest getting am5. Get the Ram later

am5 since it's newer. a lower spec mobo would be fine tbh with those parts

16gb is hard to bite, but you can always upgrade that after getting all the parts.
You can upgrade the cpu without needing a new mobo or anything, but am4 will force you on a max of 5800x3D, which is not even in production anymore.

I’d choose AM5. 7500f is newer and better for games like Stellaris and Rimworld, plus you can upgrade later. You can always add more RAM. AM4 is still good, but it’s kinda end of the line now.
