Asrock AB350 Pro 4 Bios Update question

I have this MoBo (Yes-I know it is ancient but still works for what I need it to do) and I have never updated the BIOS. It has version 3.0 and they are currently on Version 10.8 (I think?). I've seen a lot of talk about bridges and other words I don't quite understand. My question is-Can I just update to the most recent BIOS version or do I have to go in stages or install certain other ones first? Your expertise and knowledge very much appreciated. I am not sure what info you need about my system so I will let you request any info you require and it will be provided. Thank you!!!!!

The ‘bridge’ BIOS versions likely have updated microcode and other internal upgrades for framework that are necessary for later boards to function.
I’d go a couple versions ahead at a time and see what works for you (you may not need the newest unless you have CPU upgrades that are necessary..)
