Place to get good shoe recommendations

I've been having issues getting shoes that feel like they fit properly and my feet feel like they're in more pain than they're supposed to be. Does anyone know where to go for I guess a shoe expert?

lol they telling to go all these expensive place my friend. Just get a list of the most current list of walking shoes recommendations and go to a Dicks sporting good and trying on a few walking shoes no the big bulky running shoes . Before anything I would look at your current weight / posture / habits. Sometimes when you do a little bit more than what you usually do, your feet are going to hurt because it’s a new activity that you don’t have the muscles for I guess or our catalyst I am not sure how to explain it. For example, if I walked for an hour, my feet would hurt, but if I worked for an hour for 30 days
On the 30th day that our walk would really not hurt at all

I appreciate the recommendation my friend but, I was looking for a more specialized place as what I've been doing just wasn't working. Thanks for the type up though

They telling him because they listened to OPs request. OPwants the shoe recomendations to come from a person he can speak to not amalgamate potentially irrelevat data points online and come to their own decisions that are likely wrong because they are coming from a place of ignorance..

Update here: I ended up going to fleet feet and getting a nice pair. Along with the shoes I got some insoles and socks. Such a huge difference, I guess my foot was wider than I thought but I was wearing the right size length wise. Highly recommend if anyone has pain that causes almost kind of agony in their foot

if you are looking for athletic shoes/running shoes/tennis shoes, then Luke's Locker on Mockingbird by SMU. They will scan your foot and see how you walk. I'm an ex-runner - trust them completely. They also have a flexible return policy.
