Is R7 5700x3D + RTX 5070 A GOOD COMBO?

I currently have the 3070, and I'm planning to get the 5070 but I do wonder if the bottleneck is such a big deal. I mostly play Esports titles like Valo, Dota 2, PUBG, etc. I rarely play story / AAA games. In terms of performance, I am aware that I don't really need an upgrade tbh. It's just that I have spare $700 to spend but I don't wanna go higher than that. I just feel like the performance gains of switching to AM5 is not worth it right now.
-I play on 180hz 1080p
-But I also have a 180hz 1440p monitor
Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks guys. I'm from PH btw.

I recently did my upgrade to a r7 5700x + 5070 - runs really well, no real bottleneck in the traditional sense, runs pretty much anything I want. I play with dual 1440p 180hz monitors, usually don't hit the 180hz but I come close on most games

Upgrading to a RTX 5070 and your Ryzen 7 5700x3D is unlikely to be a significant bottleneck in most modern gaming scenarios. Moving from an RTX 3070 to a RTX 5070 represents a multi-generational jump. You will likely see massive improvements in raw frame rates, Ray Tracing performance, and access to newer technologies like DLSS Frame Generation.
The Ryzen 7 5700X3D is still a high-tier gaming CPU. Its 3D V-Cache is specifically designed to handle high-performance GPUs by reducing the "stutter" and bottlenecking often seen in standard processors.
Resolution matters, at 1440p/4K you are almost entirely "GPU-bound" at these resolutions. The CPU will easily keep up, and the RTX 5070 will do the heavy lifting.
Running at 1080p, you might see a slight CPU limitation in high-FPS in Esport titles, but the overall experience will still be significantly better than an RTX 3070.
Another major benefit of the RTX 5070 is that it will have more V-RAM, at 12GB, vs 8GB of the 3070, which is becoming a limitation in newer AAA titles. If you really want to future proof, you should go with a RTX 5070 Ti as you will be getting at least 16GB of V-RAM, which is becoming the norm.
Every system has a bottleneck somewhere. In your case, the 5700X3D is strong enough that "bottlenecking" shouldn't prevent you from enjoying the full power of the RTX 5070.

Yeah, I agree with your 5070ti suggestion. But maaannnn the price difference of 5070 and 5070ti here in my country is huge. Even the 9070XT has the same price with a 5070ti. Thanks for the reply bro.

Yeah, it's a big difference here as well. The RTX 5070 $600, RTX 5070 Ti $1000. That $400 is a big pill to swallow. You will probably be fine with the 5070, it will still be a big improvement over the 3070.

5070 will crush 1080p ultra, 1440p high mid for the next 3-4 years.

That would be a really good combo!
