Would this more likely be a PSU issue or a GPU issue?

Context, ive been using a 7900xt in my build flawlessly for 3 years. Then today comes and it just shits the bed maybe.

Symptoms:

Gpu will not display and motherboard io does not work

When the gpu is out of the system and using the igpu, both display and io work

And when the gpu is in the system but igpu plugged in, it also neither displays and motherboard io does not work

I have done a DDU, CMOS reset, and a BIOS Flash. I am convinced it is wither the 7900xt or the power supply

The power supply is an evga modular 850watt with a 80+ gold rating

And the gpu is a 7900xt that was sold on AMDs website

If there's a store nearby, just grab a PSU on one of your days off, test it out. If it works, you've found the issue, if it doesn't, return the PSU.

So if you rule out the PSU, then you can start looking at other things. Do you have other PCIe slots you can try on the mobo just for shits and gigs? maybe it's a random slot issue.

But honestly, I feel like you're onto something with the power.
