Opt out of ads via doctor's note

If you can provide evidence from a professional confirming that a company's advertisment(s) is/are having negative effects on you, then said company (i.e., the entity/ies who made/distributed the ad, etc.) *must* block that/those ad(s) for you.
One downside might be a drop in money being used for charity. Idk. It's bad enough being advertised to already. I don't need the added layer of emotional manipulation asking me for donations. Which, I am all for charity, but even if you're not, I think many of us would agree: It feels SO manipulative to be shown some of the *worst* *HORRORS* of the world just to squeeze more money out of me. imo, if there are horrors in the world to be seen, they should be shown via the news. Maybe a decent compromise would be a more neutral commercial, just saying, "hey, this bad thing is going on and we need money to save it. Go to this website to learn more. Viewer discretion is advised. Thx bye xo."
Unexpectedly went down a personal rabbit hole over what was meant to be a silly haha goofy ass mf'n joke on the internet. Thanks for letting me / Sorry for vent/ing. I think it was good for me.
