Need Help Building First PC

I'm currently using an a laptop for gaming and decided it was time to get a desktop and build it myself. I planned out two options I'm possibly going with and wanted to know if what I planned out is okay or needs some adjusting. I'm using microcenter pc builder because I prefer to use their saving bundles, but if the bundles are not worth it then that would be nice to know.
I would say my budget would be around $3000 but I'm willing to go a little higher, so suggest some part changes.

would help to see your two builds so people can actually give feedback on the specs and whether they're balanced for your budget and what games you're targeting.

if you click on option 1 and option 2 you will see the builds

ah fair point my bad those links weren't loading on my end so i couldn't actually see what you picked and that's why i asked, but now that i can see them option 1 looks solid for 1440p gaming and option 2 seems like overkill unless you're going 4k or streaming as well

for option 1 it was the most budget choice possible while also getting something that does great. option 2 was kind of intended for 4k gaming but also possible upgrade later on in the future.

so if 4k's the endgame with option 2 then that rtx 4090 makes sense and you've got room to upgrade the cpu later which is smart planning, but honestly option 1 will still crush 1440p high refresh for years so unless you're dead set on 4k it might be worth sticking with that and pocketing
