Airport Beacon Question

Airport is SJC - I’ve always seen the green/white beacon at all airports both on the ground and while in the skies. Trying to understand why this airport has two beacons only about 500 meters apart. Normal?

One is the beacon, the other is a reflation of the beacon. Simple as that.
