It was nuts. According to Steve McCauley, the lightning was arcing from the top of the storm to hit as far as 60 miles away, too.

I live in Weatherford, right on the edge of Springtown, and I'm on this subreddit for events. My house lost its siding and skirting last night and I'm going not going to have power for days and tomorrow is supposed to get close to 96 degrees. Who knows if any of my electronics browned out. But there goes all of my food, including a chest freezer, and having to figure out the logistics for my pets and everything else. OP can have my storms
