Altimeter Identification

Can anyone help identify this altimeter? There are no identifying markings other than the “2386” sticker on the back. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm no expert but ... Id guess that's off a Cessna or maybe a Piper.
Could even be a Grumman

Unusual that there is no dataplate on the case. My guess is it's a Kollsman WWII surplus recased for the general aviation market.
