Thoughts on the Benelli M3? I was considering the new Nova 3 but the local store has one these in stock right now.

i have one and really liked it at first, but the last few times Ive taken it out it's not wanted to cycle in semi auto very well.

I think M3s are really neat, however the whole pump / semi thing is kind of a gimmick.
I would say to get it if you find that particular gun sufficiently cool and interesting. If you really just care about getting a decent shotgun you can get any number of other good options that will be more affordable.

The M3 is expensive. Very cool gun. But for the money, I think you’re better off with a different semi auto for “tactical” use. If you just want a “fun gun” there are WAY better options dollar-for-dollar.
