You are limited to 1/2 height single slot width GPUs...single width for the entire length of the GPU. The x16 slot is at the bottom of the 3080 mobo, close to the PSU. Any GPU wider than one slot will have its cooling fan(s) right up against the PSU with little or no airflow. The Zotac 1050 Ti is two slots wide.

The mounting bracket may be one slot but the fan shroud extends past the width of the bracket...it's at least slots wide physically.
