NAM title on Cadillac, what does it really mean?

I’m in the process of buying a new car. I stumbled upon a 2013 caddy in mint condition 55k miles (elderly driven) I took a test drive and it checked out. But as yall may know the cue system is a POS. The main media was replaced with the Cadillac ‘fix’. However, while I was test driving the cluster wouldn’t turn on, would only display the mileage in the bottom right (Did go up as we drove).
Story I got was that battery was dead when he received the car from his sister who passed away, subsequently fudging up the cluster. He replaced the battery himself which is an intricate process apparently and obviously wasn’t done correctly.
I pulled the carfax and it shows as the title was transferred into his name, a NAM DMV titled was issued, however no indications of rollback or tampering showed. I’m not super concerned about insurance as I’m on liability and comp only anyways, mostly just resale value in 5 ish years.
What should I even fathom of this vehicle? Is it worth buying if the NAM title is slapped on it? Even if it’s purely an electrical error?
I’m not in a super rushed decision. Sounds like other people who checked it out had similar worries.
Cant do pictures here but if you’re super interested in helping me u can DM me and I’ll send over the carfax.

A branded title on a perfectly working/repaired vehicle will typically reduce market prices by 10-25% depending on the nature of the brand, so make sure your purchase price is adjusted accordingly, because your sales price surely will be!
But this car ain't perfectly working. If you don't know how to repair the cluster yourself, find a competent automotive electrician and go have a chat about using them for a pre-purchase inspection with written estimate (might cost you $500). Then go get that PPI done and adjust the purchase price down even more based on the result.
