How many of you sent in a picture of your atari high score to claim one of these patches?

I asked but I wasn't allowed to use the family camera, so I had to sit this one out. So sad

I have the laser blast one. It was 6-7 hours straight of playing to get to a million. And I had to do it twice. The first time I did it my dad wasn't home and he knew where the camera was. A storm rolled in 5 minutes before he got home and nullified my first try.
Next day though, after staying up to watch weather report if rain was happening again, I did it and this time dad gave me the camera to snap a picture before leaving for work.
I still love how my brother and sister didn't complain a bit about me hogging the Atari for 2 days

Yep. I still got them.

I still have my pitfall patch.

I took a picture of my Pitfall screen and you couldn’t tell the score in the picture, so I never sent it in.

We got 3000 points on Kaboom several times but could never get the picture of the TV to come out right on our Kodak instant camera.
Now I realize it's because we used a flash.

I finally did it with centipede. Took my picture waited to get that picture back. Sent the picture waited patiently to get my patch. Only to receive the plaque fighter patch. I was so disappointed.
Hasn't thought about that for years. The disappointment still stings.

Had no idea about this. I should get a asteroid patch, flipped the score a few times!

Wow, those logos.
Imagine what it took to get one of these.
wrongsock_42@reddit
We took a picture. It came back washed out an impossible to read
mwithington@reddit
Had to turn off the flash. I learned that the hard way.
wrongsock_42@reddit
Yep. Wait a couple of weeks and you learn. Awww back when photography took forever

I had the Pitfall patch but for Intellevision.

I got Pitfall, Pitfall II, River Raid, and Plaque Attack. I remember getting the qualifying Plaque Attack score the first time I played it. I still have the patches and a couple of the letters that came with them.

I’m 55(m). I still have my Pitfall, River Raiders, and Bucket Brigade badges. I would have to tell my sister and mother to not touch the tv until my father would come home from work to take a picture. It was the only tv in the house so my sister would get so mad.

I had the one from Pitfall proudly ironed on my winter jacket

Damn that’s a hard game.
themodefanatic@reddit
Didn’t even know these existed til today.
Mental_Mixture8306@reddit
Me too. I'm actually disappointed that I didnt get to send for these.
Yasuru@reddit
I think i had like 10 of them.
nixtarx@reddit
I didn't have a Poloroid, so I took a pic of my score on Pitfall with a 110. By the time it came back from the developer's, I had lost interest. I think I still have the photo somewhere in a big ol' pile of them my mom gave me.

Pitfall

I want the river raiders one. I love that game.
I also never knew this was a thing. That's awesome.
easily_abused@reddit
I had a couple! One was from Kaboom, which is on the bottom left in the picture. I think I had one from Pitfall, too. I took pictures with my sister’s Polaroid camera.

My older sister was a kaboom wizard. She was so good at it. I always wanted her to get the kaboom patch but since we weren't allowed to take pics for the patches, we couldn't get one. I found one on ebay as an adult and bought it for her as a xmas gift one year lol
