I'm having such a hard time deciding

I've narrowed my search down to 3 different ebikes:
1) Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra FS 3 Pro (with a bogo juggernaut lite) The price is up there, ~4500, with the hope I can resell the free bike to recoup some cost. I like that it has the option to get the 3" mtb tires, which is what I would prefer to run. I also like the m620 mid-drive. Do you think reselling the bogo bike will be difficult? (hoping to get around 2k for it on fb marketplace)
2) Magician Atlas. I like the price better, as well as the components. However, I've been sketched out about magician, some complaints about customer service and how new the company is. Also like the mid drive
3) Wired Warrior. Price is decent, don't love hub motor, but maybe they are better than I expect? I have also heard horror stories about wired.

BOGO is a gigantic red flag haha

I thought Biktrix was a fairly legitimate brand?

None of them are legitimate brands. They all pick from same Chinese catalog and order options to their liking.

Do you not like bafang or hantech motors?
Relative-Display-676@reddit
Not really, they are the generic one size fits all in majority of budget dtc bikes.

Interesting. I built an ebike about 10 years ago with a bafang bbshd that has been completely reliable, so I was inclined to go with bafang again. What would you recommend for a 1kw mid drive motor with throttle?
Relative-Display-676@reddit
Cyc photon 2.

I don't see any manufacturers with this as an option.

If you want pre-built, look for bike with dji avinox.

Oh man, the price on that is pretty up there. I'd iwere to do a home brew, do you have any recommendations for frames with 20ah 52v integrated batteries? I would like the battery to be locked into the bike for parking in the city during lunch stops

Don't listen to that guy. As his flair shows he is a mechanic I can only guess he will only care about certain brands and models, and many of them very high priced. You have already used a bafang motor already and it seems you haven't had any issues. They have been around for 20+ years too and Hentach even longer. Some people simply think they are junk because they are made in China.

Ok, I really thought that hentach and bafang were kind of industry standards at this point.

I thought biktrix was a legitimate company?

I have the magician mini alpha and their customer service is really good. My delivery also arrived within 3 weeks. It was a part of the first batch of preorder. Very nice bike. My buddy has the atlas because he does more off-road and loves it. Also, they're about 1000 bucks cheaper than anything Wired has.

Ok ok, this is good to hear

I just recently got a magician alpha. It arrived in good condition and runs well, so I haven't needed warranty support for anything yet. I have emailed them back and forth a handful of times regarding my order, shipping, and a couple other questions. They responded quickly. Overall positive experience for me and I wouldn't hesitate to get the atlas if I was in the market for a mid drive.

That's awesome to hear! Was there a long lead time on getting your bike?
