Had the “Zelle Fraud” team call me this morning walking me through “multiple attempted transactions” of someone who supposedly signed up with my phone number. Gave me a BS claim number then literally asked me go to the Zelle | Pay tab, put the case number in the description, to put claim number into the actual dollar part.

All of this to give me a phone number of the “Chase Branch Manager”.

I’m not sure if this person is a real person, if the phone number is real. But in case it is….thoughts? I have the first and last, along with the phone number of course.
