Assuming you’re in London there will likely be at least a dozen decent sized rock or metal bands playing.
Have a look on song kick, most of the venues such as any of the O2 academies or The Roundhouse will be a couple of thousand people.
Then you’ve got System, Metallica Def Leppard etc playing stadiums.

Greatly appreciated!

Fatboy Slim is playing on Brighton beach, tickets still available for July 16th. It will be an amazing show!

Yeah this may have to get booked! Thank you!

For all electronic music, Resident Advisor has all the listings for London clubs https://ra.co/events/uk/london?startDate=2026-07-01&endDate=2026-07-31
If you want a genuine London raving experience, Fold, MOT or the cause are all decent. Maybe Phonox as well if there’s a DJ you like on.

Thank you for this, greatly appreciated !

Gorillaz. How very British.

Yes indeed, my brother happened to buy gorrilaz tickets in the USA in September before we booked this UK trip though lol but I do appreciate the comment!

The BBC Proms at Royal Albert Hall start on the 17th of July, with daily concerts of various genres but generally on the classical/live orchestra. Tickets start at ~£10 up to ~£60, so very affordable.
I went to the overnight Prom last year and I couldn't recommend it enough. There was Anna Lapwood on the Organ, Alehouse, Cello, Piano from the bits I remember.

Thank you, this may be something the whole extended family may be interested in as well and it's very affordable compared to some of the concerts I've attended
LeonardoW9@reddit
No worries! Royal Albert Hall is a gorgeous venue and very close to Exhibition Road, where there are some great museums (Science Museum, Natural History Museum) and parks if you want to make a day of it in the area.

If you're in London, Somerset House has concerts from July 16 - wide variety of genres and a nice setting.

Thank you for the recommendation!

I heard Kanye is coming over… ohhh wait
ExternalManagement82@reddit (OP)
Lol yeah I actually was watching that one very closely, and while I don't agree with the negative things he's said, it's one of those performances I have to see at least once. I regret not seeing him sooner now that his comments are making it more difficult to see him perform.

If you’re up for something different. Check out Atarashii Gakko! - a japanese pop group.
Wet Leg also have a show in July

Actually, if you like jazz, atlus are holding persona in concert in london around that time. A lot of those soundtracks are derived from jazz fusion, something a bit different but it could be worth a shout even if you don't know the video games.
crowd might be a bit smelly though
ExternalManagement82@reddit (OP)
Yes I do listen to Jazz, thank you for the comment I really appreciate it. I'm also considering Brandon Woody, as he's performing just after I arrive in London.

Assuming you're in the London area then there'll definitely be something for you.
Just in Camden it'll be worth looking to see what's on at the Roundhouse, Underworld or Electric Ballroom

Thanks for those suggestions!

Some geezers back garden at 2am. Be prepared to do copious amounts of flake and drink bucketfulls of stella.
ExternalManagement82@reddit (OP)
Lol sounds like a good time!
ben_jamin_h@reddit
Where in the UK will you be? There's obviously loads of different stuff happening in loads of different towns. Knowing where you're going to be would help!
ExternalManagement82@reddit (OP)
So I left location a bit vague because I am willing to travel for a good show, and haven't built a full itinerary for the few weeks I'll be there. However, I'll be arriving and departing in London and may stay there a few days either upon arrival or pre-departure. I'll also be visiting family in Wales (Cardiff, Swansea, Carmarthen, west Wales, north Wales) and also a pit stop up to Glasgow and/or Edinburgh. I might even go to Paris, France before departure if I spend time in London upon arrival. The itinerary is very fluid lol
Odd-Paramedic-3826@reddit
gorillaz and system of a down are playing in london month if you can land tickets. i personally would go with gorillaz since they're a british group
ExternalManagement82@reddit (OP)
Thanks for your insight! Ironically, my brother has already purchased us tickets for gorillaz in September back in the USA lol
