Short term yes , but long term im somewhat optimistic
Next 20 years are going to be crap for >90% of the people as "the great replacement has started"
The goal of leading AI & robotics companies is to replace everyone's job in which they will eventually succed but it might take them 10-20 years .
Wave of constantly rising unempoyment and more and more human jobs being rendered obsolete by machines is going to ugly to witness, most people will end up depending on goverment welfare programs to survive . But eventually in some 20+ years 99% of human jobs will be replaced and at that point economy will so much more efficient that there will be enough goods and services produced so that everyone is rich by todays standards.
No, and I truly believe we will soon reach above human intelligence with AI. I'm more scared of the average human intelligence currently in power in a lot of countries.
No, I trust the redditor programmers who post on r/ArtificialInteligence and r/artificial who say it's just a nothingburger which will never take their jobs or any jobs since AI is just a dumb algorithm.
Yes. Because I'm not sure for how long I'll still have a job. Even if I do for quite a while, the expectations are growing a lot now that I have AI to help me. I feel like work is becoming more stressful, not less.
